Seahawks vs. 49ers Prediction on Spread

Here are some stats to get you ready for Seahawks vs. 49ers.

  • The Seahawks are 7-1 on the road this year, while the 49ers are 5-2 at home.
  • The Seahawks have a 7-1 ATS record on the road, while the 49ers have gone 4-3 ATS at Levi's Stadium.
  • The 49ers are 2-1 outright and 2-1 ATS against the Seahawks in their last three matchups against their NFC West foe.

Seattle Seahawks Preview vs. 49ers

Even as we’ve crossed into January of 2026, the Seahawks remain confusing. They recently hung 38 points on the Los Angeles Rams in a crazy come-from-behind win but the week before, they nearly lost to 44-year-old QB Phillip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts while only scoring 18 points.

Similarly, QB Sam Darnold has shown moxie at times, but he’s also flashed the issues that had many labeling the former top-three pick as a bust.

The Seahawks rank third in Run Stop Win Rate and sixth in Pass Rush Win Rate, according to ESPN. They may look to lean on their top-ranked defense against the 49ers, who have thrived with superstar RB Christian McCaffrey racking up nearly 2,000 all-purpose yards.

Seattle will also have to stop QB Brock Purdy, who has played like an All-Pro down the stretch with 11 passing TDs and 2 INTs in his last three games.

San Francisco 49ers Preview vs. Seahawks

The 49ers have jumped through every conceivable hoop to get to this spot. They’ve had injuries to top players, with TE George Kittle, Purdy, OT Trent Williams, and WRs Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall all missing multiple games' worth of time.

Despite it all, the 49ers sit within one win of snagging a first-round bye. They could play every single remaining game at their home stadium if they go all the way, considering February's Super Bowl will be at Levi's.

A major key to defeating the Seahawks will be the health of Kittle, who did not play in Week 17 after hurting his ankle. He has said he “fully expects to play” in Week 18.

Williams and Pearsall are also nursing injuries, making the two star players less than 100% entering Saturday.

Seahawks vs. 49ers Picks for PrizePicks

Here are two top Seahawks vs. 49ers same-game player picks for Week 18, spotlighting key projections to watch for TE George Kittle and WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

You can choose More or Less on these projections on PrizePicks — along with plenty of others — for a chance to earn real money this NFL season.

49ers TE George Kittle Projection vs. Seahawks: 61.5 Receiving Yards

The superstar TE has played well in his career against the Seahawks, averaging nearly 60 yards per game against them and scoring at least one TD in five of his last six appearances.

Kittle has logged at least 67 receiving yards in his last six games. Purdy relies heavily on him in the middle of the field, which is a massive help when going against a Seahawks defense that plays a ton of zone (80.6%, per Sharp Football Analysis). That matchup could enable Kittle to run in-breaking routes and crossers to get open.

The Seahawks struggle against the TE position. They’ve allowed the fifth-most yards per game to them, per Lineups, and have allowed nine teams to have more than 60 TE yards.

Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba Projection vs. 49ers: 7 Receptions

In a game that means everything, Seattle’s most meaningful offensive weapon may be heavily involved.

Despite a slower end to the season — he only crossed 100 receiving yards in one of his last five games — Smith-Njigba maintained a heavy usage rate with at least 9 targets in four of those contests.

JSN has had 7 or more catches in 12 games. He has an outrageous 33% target share vs. zone coverage, per PFF, and with the 49ers running zone at a high rate, Smith-Njigba could be a primary target against a secondary that has nickel CB Upton Stout banged up.
