#12 Clemson vs. Georgia Tech
🏈 Full Clemson vs. Georgia Tech Prediction and Picks
Time: 12 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: ESPN
What to Watch For: Clemson QB Cade Klubnik came into 2025 looking like a Heisman Trophy candidate — he has disappointed tremendously, with much of the Tigers’ problems falling on their offensive line. The Tigers dropped in the rankings after they struggled to handle Troy last week, and Klubnik passed for less than 200 yards.
This week, he will likely get back WR1 Antonio Williams, who is questionable to play, but adds an entirely new dynamic to the offense. Klubnik will face a Georgia Tech defense that is giving up 5.45 yards per dropback (54th).
Also crucial will be the health of Georgia Tech QB Haynes King, who is expected to be available to play.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: Clemson RB Adam Randall – 69.5 Rush Yards
Wisconsin vs. #19 Alabama
Time: 12 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: ABC
What to Watch For: Although the Badgers have only faced Middle Tennessee and Miami (OH), they rank No. 2 overall Expected Points Added — they have won both convincingly.
Alabama looked miserable in its loss vs. a Florida State team, whose strength is still yet to be determined.
This is the first smell test game for Alabama, coach Kalen DeBoer, and QB Ty Simpson — who gets a pass on his first start in a tough environment in Tallahassee.
If Bama even looks to struggle with this Wiscy team at home, we’re gonna see Bama in the middle of the pack in the SEC — and that might just be the case here. Watch this one closely.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: Alabama K Conor Talty – 7.5 Kicking Points
#4 Oregon vs. Northwestern
Time: 12 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: FOX
What to Watch For: This is probably the weakest game on the ones to watch, but has been steamrolling teams so far this year in two road games. Now the Ducks go on the road here, but it’s hard to think things will be much different vs. a Northwestern team that only put up 3 points on Tulane.
This should be an absolute steamrolling — but let’s see if the Ducks can dominate like they have at home by a combined score of 128-16 in the last two games.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: Oregon RB Noah Whittington – 57.5 Rush Yards
#6 Georgia vs. #15 Tennessee
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: ABC
What to Watch For: Two SEC powerhouses go head-to-head, but this has been a lopsided matchup for years now; the Vols have lost eight straight games to the Bulldogs. Tennessee coach Josh Heupel has never scored more than 17 points vs. Georgia in his tenure, but so far, QB Joey Aguilar looks like the real deal and a natural fit in this offense.
On the Georgia side, question marks remain about Georgia QB Gunner Stockton, as he’s had two cake walk matchups to this point. We’re going to learn a lot about these two teams this week.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: Georgia WR Colbie Young – 40.5 Receiving Yards; Tennessee QB Joey Aguilar – 204.5 Pass Yards
#18 South Florida vs. #5 Miami
Time: 4:30 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: The CW Network
What to Watch For: South Florida has shocked the nation to win back-to-back games as big underdogs. It’s really not all that surprising, considering that this Todd Orlando defense is legit, and the Bulls got QB Byrum Brown back from injury — and the offense only goes as he goes.
The problem is, USF is coming off of two huge emotional wins, while Miami is at home and coming off a cake walk vs. Bethune-Cookman and a real test vs. Notre Dame, a 27-24 win.
Sure, USF has pulled two huge upsets, but this is a different beast.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: USF QB Byrum Brown – 196.5 Pass Yards
Ohio vs. #1 Ohio State
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: Peacock
What to Watch For: On a loaded slate of night games, this one is certainly the least interesting. But similar to the Oregon game, I’m looking forward to watching how this National Championship favorite competes vs. real competition, especially an in-state rival — even if it is a MAC school that they should outclass.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith – 95.5 Receiving Yards; Ohio QB Parker Navarro – 164.5 Pass+Rush Yards
Florida vs. #3 LSU
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: ABC
What to Watch For: Florida gets back DT Caleb Banks here, who could take advantage of LSU’s pass block that only ranks 46th in college football, per PFF grades.
LSU’s offense has been unimpressive to this point, even with Heisman favorite Garrett Nussmeier under center. Nussmeier has three explosive plays and three turnover-worthy plays — that’s recipe for a disaster against a defense like Florida’s, that will create havoc for Nussmeier.
On Florida’s side, I’ll be looking for DJ Lagway to bounce back after dropping the game to USF last week. That could become difficult in a rowdy night game in Death Valley. Let’s see how he handles the pressure, with Florida’s playoff hopes now on the brink.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier – 285.5 Pass+Rush Yards; Florida QB DJ Lagway – 3.5 Rush Yards
#16 Texas A&M vs. #8 Notre Dame
Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame Prediction, Picks
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: NBC/Peacock
What to Watch For: Notre Dame needs to win out — including this game — to get back to the Playoffs after losing to Miami to start the season. For Texas A&M, now committed to QB Marcel Reed, we’re going to learn a lot about whether the Aggies are ready to compete in the second year of coach Mike Elko’s rebuild.
Texas A&M also has some concerns on defense, as they are 98th in tackling grade on PFF. That’s not going to bode well in a matchup against Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love, who is one of the top backs in the nation.
Notre Dame got a week of rest heading into this game, while Texas A&M’s defense has given up 22 and 24 points against two offenses that are outside of the top 100 in overall ranking, according to PFF.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love – 79.5 Rush Yards
Vanderbilt vs. #11 South Carolina
Time: 7:45 p.m. ET
Where to Watch: SEC Network
What to Watch For: This is the most underrated game on the slate. Although Vandy isn’t ranked, this team led by QB Diego Pavia has the makings of a team that’s going to make some noise. Vandy is coming off an impressive 44-20 win over Virginia Tech. After two games, the Commodores rank sixth in overall EPA/play, and 32nd in overall defense EPA.
Now they’ll get their toughest test yet in South Carolina and QB LaNorris Sellers, who has not been as electric as he was to end 2024. He hasn’t compiled more than 250 yards in a game yet, but South Carolina has looked quite conservative in the playcalling so far.
But in last week’s win, Sellers looked downright bad, completing 58% of his passes for just 128 yards vs. SC State.
Don’t be surprised to see Vanderbilt take this down to the wire, unless Sellers can put it all together for four quarters for the first time this year.
PrizePicks CFB Pick: South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers – 0.5 Rush+Rec TD; Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia — 190.5 Pass Yards
