Lynx F Napheesa Collier – 21 Points

  • Collier should be motivated heading into Game 2 after losing out on the league MVP award to Aces’ C A’ja Wilson.
  • Collier finished second in scoring in the WNBA at 22.9 points per game, all while missing 11 games due to an ankle injury.
  • In Game 1 against the Mercury, Collier scored 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor.
  • In seven of the last nine games, the former UConn standout has been limited to 20 or fewer points.
  • Collier has been cooled down by the Mercury this season, scoring less than 18 points in all four meetings.

Mercury G Kahleah Copper – 18.5 Pts+Rebs

  • Copper set the tone for Phoenix in the series opener, compiling a team-high 22 points.
  • She shot 2-of-8 from 3-point range, but the rest of her Mercury teammates combined to clank 1-of-15 from downtown.
  • In the Game 3 victory over the Liberty in the first round, Copper pulled down 9 boards. In the other three playoff games, the ninth-year pro managed just 2 apiece.
  • Copper’s 22-point effort in Game 1 marked the sixth time this season she has amassed at least 20 points in a road contest.
  • In the last six games away from Arizona, Copper has been chilly from 3-point land, hitting 9-of-37.

Lynx G Kayla McBride – 14.5 Points

  • McBride finished with her highest scoring output in nearly a month by putting up 21 points in Sunday’s victory over Phoenix.
  • In all three playoff games, McBride has stepped up with scoring efforts of 17, 18, and 21 points.
  • The veteran out of Notre Dame has topped the 18-point mark in three of five matchups with Phoenix this season.
  • In the last five home games, McBride caught fire from long range, hitting 17-of-34.
  • Phoenix allowed opponents to shoot 32.1% from 3-point land in the regular season, but the Mercury have limited foes to a meager 26.7% shooting in the playoffs.
