The Baltimore Ravens got the job done in overtime against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, securing a 30-23 victory on the road minus QB Lamar Jackson. The superstar signal-caller remains out of the lineup following an ankle injury sustained the game prior.

With back-to-back divisional contests approaching, Baltimore would benefit from a boost in the form of Jackson’s return. Is that realistic for Week 6, or could it be another week of Tyler “Snoop” Huntley under center?

Below, we’ll dive into the latest Lamar Jackson injury update and its potential impact on Ravens fantasy football picks and projections for PrizePicks.

Lamar Jackson Injury Update: Will Lamar Play in Week 6?

Fortunately for the Ravens, help might be on the way soon. According to a Wednesday morning report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, there’s “a realistic chance” the two-time MVP could play this Sunday vs. the Cleveland Browns.

In a separate report, NFL Network and ESPN’s Mike Garafolo said Jackson is “efforting as much as he possibly can.” He added that rookie WR Ja’Kobi Lane “has a shot” to make his return from a wrist injury as well.

Jackson wasn’t spotted during the open media viewing portion of Wednesday’s practice.

Should Jackson be good to go against Cleveland, he’d potentially offer a big-time swing for the weekend clash. Across four starts this year, he’s completed a career-best 70.8% of his passes while racking up a league-leading 10.1 yards per attempt, 10.9 adjusted net yards per attempt, 14.2 yards per completion, and 119.6 passer rating.

The production doesn’t stop there. According to RBSDM, Jackson is tied with San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy in adjusted EPA/play with 0.369. Moreover, his 8.1% completion percentage over expected leads the NFL by 1.4%. Finally, his 54.7% success rate and 10.3 average air yards are both second.

The four-time Pro Bowler is the captain of a resurgent Ravens crew that ranks sixth in points per drive and 10th in yards per drive.

Jackson’s main PrizePicks projection for Week 6 is 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon). His participation in practice this week is absolutely worth keeping an eye on ahead of Sunday. The Ravens face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7.

Ravens Fantasy Football Outlook If Jackson Returns

There’s no denying Jackson’s level of impact when he’s on the field for the Ravens. Courtesy of RayCarp, Baltimore produces a swing of 0.225 EPA/play depending on whether he’s in or out of the lineup. With Jackson, the club also owns a 9.5% higher success rate and nets 2.1 more yards per play.

How much the Ravens run the ball is also Jackson-dependent; their 2026 run rate is 5.1% lower without him. Via nfelo, head coach Jesse Minter’s group owns the sixth-lowest pass rate over expected (-5.7%), so RB Derrick Henry’s workload may be altered a bit.

King Henry is already up to league-most 113 rushes this year, racking up 476 yards. Week 5 was one of his more productive efforts, as he scored a TD and averaged 4.8 yards per touch after piecing together 3.3 and 3.2, respectively, in Weeks 3 and 4. NFL Pro notes that he’s notched 0.2 rushing yards over expected per attempt.

The biggest winner in the event of a Jackson return would be WR Zay Flowers. The fourth-year man and his standout QB, per Pro Football Focus, combine for a 155.8 passer rating and an absurd 1.25 EPA/play on their targets. Via SumerSports, Flowers is sixth among all WRs with a 29.81% target share, and his 4.45 yards per route run sits first for anyone with multiple routes.

A healthy and available trio of Jackson, Henry, and Flowers could assist Baltimore in taking down a Cleveland defense that sits 13th in EPA/play on defense (-0.020) and ranks fourth in dropback EPA/play with the same mark.

If it’s Huntley, all hope isn’t lost. The 28-year-old came alive late in Week 5’s prime-time win and finished the outing with 201 passing yards and a pair of TDs. He’s appeared in 27 regular-season games as a Raven, posting an 85.5 passer rating.

On PrizePicks, the Ravens are 5.5-point favorites over the Browns and return a 1.36x payout with a win over their AFC North rivals in Week 6.
