Josh Jacobs Return Update: Will Jacobs Play in Week 7?
Jacobs was placed on the exempt list on August 30 following an alleged altercation with his ex-girlfriend. While on the list, Jacobs was not permitted to attend games or practice with the team.
The veteran RB reached a plea deal earlier this month regarding the two misdemeanor charges. The league is still investigating the case, so further discipline isn't being ruled out by any means.
"The NFL initiated an investigation under the Personal Conduct Policy following Jacobs' arrest in May," the league said in a statement Friday. "The league's review remains ongoing and is not affected by this change to Jacobs' roster status."

The third-year RB rushed for just 10 yards on 8 carries in a 23-13 win against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. With Jacobs expected to return in Week 7, the Packers will be facing a Lions run defense that has ceded -0.039 rush EPA/play (27th) and a league-worst overall EPA/play (0.170), per RBSDM.
