What Are Live Picks on PrizePicks?
Live Picks are real-time player stat projections available during in-progress NBA, NFL, MLB games, plus more sports on PrizePicks.
If a game is live, look for the red flashing dot in the top left corner of the player square, which indicates that it’s a Live Pick. In addition, in the top menu, sports that currently have live games are indicated by a red dot — like the NBA pill in the image below.
A live square shows two numbers: a player's full-game projection (the larger number) alongside their current stat progress (smaller). You’ll pick More or Less on the full-game number, not where they are at that moment.

How to Make Live Picks: Step-by-Step
Live Picks work exactly like picks for any other PrizePicks Lineup.
Choose More or Less on 2-6 player stats, mix in as many Live Picks as you want alongside pre-game projections, choose your entry amount (and see the potential winnings), and lock in your Lineup.
Here’s the full step-by-step of how to make your Lineup with Live Picks.
- Open the PrizePicks app; live games appear instantly under Featured Games on the Explore Tab — look for the red dot in the bottom right corner of the game to signal it's live.
- Tap a game to see all available picks for that game, or tap the NBA tab to view all Live Picks and upcoming projections.
- Pick More or Less on 2-6 player stat projections — points, rebounds, PRA, 3-pointers, and more.
- Stick with Live Picks, or mix in picks from upcoming games or other sports to your Lineup; you don’t have to use only Live Picks.
- Tap the bottom bar to Finalize Lineup, choose your entry fee, and submit Lineup.

Note: If a projection is “Paused,” it has been removed temporarily due to various outcomes in the game. When this happens, you can either remove the paused pick from your Lineup, or wait for it to unpause. For NBA, Live Squares are available until 6 minutes are left in the game.
