Monday's WNBA slate features a pair of potential mismatches, with the defending champion New York Liberty (22-15) looking to get on track against the suddenly-hot Connecticut Sun (9-27) at 7:00 p.m. ET at Barclays Center.

New York was wiped out in Atlanta on Sunday, suffering its fourth loss in the last five games. Connecticut, who owned the worst record in the WNBA last week, has made some progress by winning three consecutive contests.

Elsewhere, the Las Vegas Aces (24-14) seek their 11th consecutive victory with a trip to the Windy City to face the struggling Chicago Sky (9-27) at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Below are free WNBA picks for Monday, August 25, including PrizePicks WNBA Picks to target for tonight.

WNBA DFS Picks Today for PrizePicks: August 25

Here are three of the top WNBA DFS picks for Monday, August 25, on PrizePicks. Click each pick to read more.

Sun C Tina Charles – 15.5 Points

  • Charles is coming off a pair of solid performances in Connecticut's last two victories. The veteran posted 21 points against Washington, followed by a 23-point, 10-rebound showing against Chicago.
  • The former UConn standout has not shot well on the road, hitting 35.9% from the floor compared to 48.5% at home.
  • In two home matchups with the Liberty earlier this month, Charles scored 15 and 17 points against her former team. Charles converted on 11-of-30 shots in those two games.
  • In spite of New York’s recent struggles and injuries, the Liberty are allowing opponents to shoot 42.2% from the floor and 28.7% from 3-point range the last five games.
  • In all four games following a win this month, Charles has finished with more than 17 points each time.

Aces C A’ja Wilson – 25.5 Points

  • Wilson has been dominant over this 11-game winning streak, especially in the last five victories.
  • The former South Carolina star has posted 30.2 points per game in the past five wins, capped off by 36 points in Sunday’s comeback victory over Washington.
  • Wilson has topped the 27-point mark in four consecutive road contests, while eclipsing this projection in seven of the last nine games overall.
  • The Aces and Sky have not met this season, but Wilson poured in 28 points or more in three of four matchups in 2024.
  • Chicago owns the worst defensive rating in the league at 110, while Las Vegas’ offense rating is 114.3 the last five games.

Sky C Kamilla Cardoso – 23 Pts+Rebs

  • Cardoso is averaging 17.6 points per game in the last five games.
  • The third selection of this season’s draft put up her top performance in an upset of the Liberty last week. Cardoso scored 22 points and grabbed 15 boards, marking her 10th double-double of the season.
  • The South Carolina product is racking up 13.7 points and 8.1 rebounds a contest at home this season.
  • The second year big finished below this projection in three consecutive home games prior to scoring 18 points and pulling down 7 rebounds in Saturday’s loss to the Sun.
  • She has not faced the Aces in her career, but will stare down another star Gamecock in A’ja Wilson.
  • Cardoso snatched double-digit rebounds in six straight home games before compiling 7 or fewer rebounds in the past four contests at Wintrust Arena.
