Dolphins 2026 NFL Mock Draft: Miami Fills Needs in First Round

The 2026 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, with the action-packed event kicking off on Thursday, April 23. As the football world awaits the clock to start ticking on the No. 1 pick, mock drafts continue to roll in.

Many teams have already made significant changes to their rosters. The Miami Dolphins are a perfect example, having cut QB Tua Tagovailoa and WR Tyreek Hill and traded WR Jaylen Waddle. They also released OLB Bradley Chubb and traded S Minkah Fitzpatrick.

That’s just the on-field personnel. Miami also replaced GM Chris Grier and head coach Mike McDaniel with a pair of now-former Green Bay Packers in GM Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley.

After making the playoffs in 2022 and 2023, the Dolphins went backwards the last two seasons, resulting in an organizational reset. Will a strong draft under the new regime lead to major improvements?

Below, we’ll conduct a Dolphins 2026 NFL mock draft for the first two rounds, which includes three of the top 43 selections. Plus, some 2026 NFL Draft predictions can be translated to PrizePicks.

Dolphins 2026 NFL Mock Draft

Miami’s 2026 NFL Draft capital includes 11 total picks, including a second first-rounder thanks to sending Waddle to the Denver Broncos. Miami also has four third-round picks, giving it seven of the first 94 selections.

Last year, the Dolphins used their first two picks on Michigan DT Kenneth Grant and Arizona G Jonah Savaiinaea. With the amount of picks at their disposal, they can now move up and down the board as they choose.

Here’s a list of Miami’s available selections in the first two rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft:

  • Round 1: Pick 11
  • Round 1: Pick 30 (from Denver)
  • Round 2: Pick 43

Who could Miami target with its first three picks? It’s time to dig into our Dolphins 2026 NFL Mock Draft.

All 2026 NFL Draft payout data is from PrizePicks Team Picks. It's live as of writing but is subject to change.

Round 1, Pick 11: Rueben Bain Jr. (EDGE, Miami)

A player not many expected to fall to the Dolphins does in this mock, as a hometown player in the Miami Hurricanes’ Reuben Bain Jr. sits here at 11. The Fins don't pass up the best player available in Bain, who is top talent.

Bain is a disruptive defender, which was evident during the Hurricanes' run to the CFP national title game. He's excellent against the run and is a consistent three-down player who fills the void left by the departures of Chubb and OLB Jaelan Phillips.

With power and strength, Bain can sledge through tackles and win one-on-one battles. He projects to be a plus starter and make an impact on a defensive front early and often.

Round 1, Pick 30: Chase Bisontis (OG, Texas A&M)

After not going with the offensive line at 11, Miami does just that with the pick they got from the Broncos. Texas A&M’s Chase Bisontis is the pick here, and he could slot in at LG and allow Savaiinaea to move back to RG.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pounder started 35 games in three seasons at College Station, playing RT and then LG. He earned Third Team All-SEC last year and is one of the highest-ranked guards in the 2026 class. Sullivan seems set on shoring up the trenches, and that continues with Bisontis.

NFL Draft analyst Lance Zierlein believes Bisontis is a "tough, well-schooled guard that brings heavy hands, good footwork and plus core strength to the table."

Round 2, Pick 43: Brandon Cisse (CB, South Carolina)

Another major need for Miami heading into the draft is the secondary. Luckily, that's one of the deeper groups in the 2026 NFL Draft, so the Dolphins can wait until the early second round to grab a defensive back.

South Carolina’s Brandon Cisse impressed with his vertical jump and broad jump, contributing to a 9.24 Relative Athletic Score, and projects well on film. His coverage, mobility, and explosiveness could result in a late first-round or early second-round slot.

In an AFC East division featuring star QBs Drake Maye and Josh Allen, the Dolphins need a press-man corner that can shut down one side of the field.

Cisse has the traits of someone that new coach Jeff Hafley could employ well in his scheme this coming season.
