Top Buy Low, Sell High Players in Week 4: Buy Cam Skattebo, Sell Tre Tucker

As we head into Week 4, the injury bug has invaded the NFL, claiming a ton of key players.

WRs Mike Evans and CeeDee Lamb will miss up to four weeks with their respective injuries, RBs James Conner and Najee Harris are done for the season, and RB Tyrone Tracy will miss extended time as well.

But when injuries arise, other players step up in their place. Week 4 has given us an opportunity to buy low and sell high on players in fantasy football, and in NFL DFS.

For the buy low players, it's time to make a move for them before they explode; for the sell high, it might be time to get rid of them before their bottom falls out.

We'll break down these players' projections for Week 4 of NFL DFS PrizePicks — where you can pick More or Less on player stats to win real money during the 2025 NFL season

Fantasy Football Buy Low: Week 4

Here are some key players to buy low on for fantasy football ahead of Week 4, as well as their projections on PrizePicks' NFL DFS game this week.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen

Familiarity often breeds productivity, and that has helped 33-year-old Chargers WR Keenan Allen in his return to Los Angeles.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert had one of his least productive seasons in 2024, with career lows in passing yards (3,870) and passing touchdowns (23) (minimum 17 games), as the Chargers leaned heavily leaned on the run game.

It may not be a coincidence that it was the only season he didn’t have Allen, who signed with the Chicago Bears last year.

The two have reunited, and it could be a reason Herbert is an early MVP candidate. Allen is leading the Chargers and is ninth in the NFL in targets (28), while finding the end zone in each game this season.

The chemistry with Herbert makes Allen a reliable weekly starter, even surrounded by other targets like Ladd McConkey.

  • 50.5 Receiving Yards
  • 0.5 Rush+Rec TDs (Demon)
  • 19.5 Yards Longest Reception

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren appears to be the Steelers’ featured back, as he was on the field for a career-high 79.6% of the offensive snaps last week against the Seahawks.

It seems like the Steelers don't yet trust their 2025 third-round pick RB Kaleb Johnson, as he has only seen 4 snaps this season — and none in Week 3. RB Kenneth Gainwell has become the primary backup, but his snap percentage has steadily declined from 54% in Week 1 to 26% in Week 3.

Warren has been hovering in the RB2 area in fantasy football with top-20 finishes in all three games. As long as he continues to see volume, he becomes a valuable commodity.

Giants RB Cam Skattebo

We promise this is the final time Cam Skattebo will be mentioned as a buy-low candidate, because you will not be able to get him at a value after Week 4. Skattebo is now in line to lead the Giants back field.

In a disastrous offensive showing against the Chiefs, where the Giants could only score 9 points and accumulate 281 total yards, Skattebo was the lone bright spot.

In Week 3, he led the team in carries (10), rushing yards (60), receptions (6), receiving yards (61), and scored the Giants' only touchdown. It looked like the Skattebo that we saw at Arizona State — carrying his entire offense.

Now, we can expect Skattebo to become the workhorse in this backfield with RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. out for 2-4 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Skattebo had already seen his snaps jump from 12% in Week 1 to 52% in Week 2. Now, the rookie becomes an even more important piece for the Giants as they are making a switch from QB Russell Wilson to first-round rookie Jaxson Dart.

His first NFL start will not be easy against the 3-0 Chargers, who are eighth in QB knockdown percentage (10.3%). The Giants could ease Dart in by leaning on the run, and Skattebo has been moving the ball thanks to averaging nearly 4 yards after contact, per PFF.

‍Fantasy Football Sell High: Week 4

Here are some key players to sell high on for fantasy football after overachieving thus far, plus their projections on PrizePicks' real money NFL DFS game this week.

Raiders WR Tre Tucker

If you played Tre Tucker in Week 3, you've got a smile on your face today. But this could be the best time to walk away with house money and give him to a needy league-mate.

The people who have WRs Mike Evans or CeeDee Lamb could be desperate to find a replacement, possibly willing to pay a higher value after Tucker’s 8 catches for 145 yards and 3 TD performance.

This is only the third time in 36 career games that Tucker finished with 60+ receiving yards, and it’s difficult to see him coming close to those Week 3 stats for the rest of the season.

TE Brock Bowers and WR Jakobi Meyers are the primary targets in this offense, capturing a combined 41% target share. Despite last week’s performance, Tucker is third at a n insignificant 14.3%.

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid had a disappointing 2024 season, finishing as the TE30, coming off a great rookie year in 2023, where he ranked 11th in fantasy points amongst tight ends.

He's off to a great start as the current TE6, but will he be able to sustain that on a 2-TE team with plenty of targets surrounding QB Josh Allen?

The primary concern is the limited on-field opportunities. He’s currently in a three-man rotation with fellow TEs Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes, with Knox out-snapping Kincaid 121-112.

In those limited snaps, Kincaid's route participation is only 64% and his first read share is 12.8%.

Buffalo is one of the heaviest running teams in the NFL, with a 49.03% run play percentage (6th).  Kincaid will be a weekly boom-or-bust throughout the season, likely relying on TDs to be a starter at TE.

The Bills should score at will this week vs. a Saints defense that ranks 29th in dropback EPA, per rbsdm. So, if you don't move him now and he pops off in Week 3, you could see his value rise.

  • 3.5 Receptions
  • 34.5 Receiving Yards

Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins

Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins looks to be the clear RB1 in Denver and leads the backfield in carries (41), rushing yards (222), and snaps (101).

However, we have seen this movie before, and we know how it ends. There is always a concern about Dobbins and his history with injuries. Since his rookie season in 2020, Dobbins has missed 47 out of a possible 84 games, and has never played a full season.

The Broncos might understand this, as Dobbins is only getting 54.9% of the snap share and a 38.1% route participation.

There’s also rookie RB RJ Harvey in the mix, who Broncos head coach Sean Payton said is an “important piece” in this offense. Even in limited opportunities, the rookie is making them count, with 5.50 yards created per touch (3rd).
