Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving injured both his shoulder and foot against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4. Despite the Bucs never placing him on IR or saying much about his status, he hasn't set foot on an NFL field since then in what's become a two-month absence.
Fans and fantasy football players were delighted to see the second-year man taking part in practices prior to Week 11, albeit in a limited fashion. The team threw cold water on any speculation, holding Irving out at least one more week.
With Irving practicing again this week, let’s take a look at what’s going on surrounding the Bucs’ RB. We'll also dive into PrizePicks projections for the rest of Tampa Bay's RB room if Irving cannot go.
Will Bucky Irving Play in Week 12 vs. Rams?
Bucs HC Todd Bowles told reporters that RB Bucky Irving is out for Sunday night’s game in L.A., but the team is targeting his return in Week 13 against Arizona.

Unfortunately, Irving will be out another week, according to Bucs head coach Todd Bowles. In his absence, RBs Sean Tucker and Rachaad White figure to once again helm the backfield.
Bowles also noted that Irving didn't handle his first time being hurt "well," causing him to reportedly need some extra support. He declined to expand on what that meant exactly, but it appears that Irving may have struggled mentally as well as physically, contributing to his extended absence.
Buccaneers Offensive Outlook Without Bucky Irving
Sean Tucker has a specific role. He's the primary early down RB, a role that has not had a lot of success against the Rams.

Against the Bills, sure. I liked Tucker last week, don't this week.
Rachaad White was on the field for 100% of passing downs and 2 min snaps last week.
With Irving out, we've had an extended opportunity to see what the Buccaneers look like elsewhere at RB.
Both Tucker and White have stepped up to take on a heavier workload, but Tucker has really shined in recent weeks. While Bowles has typically espoused the "hot hand" approach, Tucker could be the '1A' of the duo.
Recently, Bucs OC Josh Grizzard noted that Tucker deserves more carries and that he expects his workload to continue where it's been recently. Tucker had a breakout game against the Bills last week with 130+ scrimmage yards and 3 touchdowns. He may get the first crack at the bell cow role vs. the Rams' defense.
