With the start of the 2026 NFL Draft on the horizon, the festivities will soon begin on Thursday, April 23. As we count down the time until the Las Vegas Raiders make the No. 1 pick, mock drafts are fast and furious.
The Cleveland Browns seem to make headlines during the draft every year, whether it’s taking QBs Johnny Manziel or Baker Mayfield, not having a first-round pick for three years by trading for Deshaun Watson, or even taking two QBs last year in Shedeur Sanders and Dillion Gabriel.
The Browns, who have been in the league's basement for the last two seasons with a combined 8-26 record, are one of five teams holding two first-round picks. Will a good draft under new coach Todd Monken lead to major improvements?
Below, we’ll conduct a Browns 2026 NFL mock draft for the first three rounds, which includes four of the top 70 selections. Plus, some 2026 NFL Draft predictions can be translated to PrizePicks.

Browns 2026 NFL Mock Draft
Cleveland’s 2026 NFL Draft capital includes a pair of first-round picks due to trading down from the No. 2 overall pick last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Browns hold the sixth and 24th picks and have plenty of holes to fill.
Last year, the Browns started their youth movement with seven of the first 144 picks, which included Michigan DT Mason Graham, Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins, and taking two QBs.
While QB is not totally off the board, the expectation is Cleveland won’t select one early. Where else could they improve, with four early picks at their disposal?
Here’s a list of Cleveland’s team selections in the first three rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft:
- Round 1: Pick 6
- Round 1: Pick 24
- Round 2: Pick 39
- Round 3: Pick 70
Who could Cleveland target? It’s time to dig into our Browns 2026 NFL Mock Draft.

Round 1, Pick 6: Spencer Fano (OT, Utah)
The Browns did upgrade their offensive line in the offseason, trading for Houston Texans OT Tytus Howard, signing G Zion Johnson and C/G Elgton Jenkins, and re-signing G Teven Jenkins.
However, they still have a big hole at left tackle on a line that ranked 20th in ESPN's pass block win rate metric, 24th in run block win rate, and allowed pressure on a league-high 39.1% of dropbacks in the 2025 season.
Utah’s Spencer Fano is projected to be one of the first tackles off the board, along with Miami’s Francis Mauigoa. Fano is 6’5”, 300 pounds, and has shown tremendous acceleration off the line.
NFL scouting analyst Lance Zierlein believes Fano “has the tools to mirror speed rushers, wall off the top of the pocket, and find a late anchor when taking the worst of a bull rush.”

Round 1, Pick 24: Denzel Boston (WR, Washington)
After shoring up the offensive line, Cleveland stays on that side of the ball with the 24th pick.
Outside of WR Jerry Jeudy and TE Harold Fannin Jr., who led the Browns with 731 receiving yards last year, Cleveland lacks outside threats. The Browns were second-to-last in passing offense, netting only 165.1 yards per game.
Denzel Boston enters the draft coming off a season in which he had 881 yards and 11 TDs on 62 receptions. He receives high marks for winning jump balls and thriving as a red-zone mismatch with a 6'3", 212-pound frame.
Cleveland may have options at this spot, as five to six WRs are projected as first-round material. That group includes Boston.

Round 2, Pick 39: A.J. Haulcy (S, LSU)
After going offense with both picks in the first round, the Browns hit the defensive side with the 39th overall pick. The secondary is one of the deeper positions in the 2026 NFL Draft, so Cleveland can wait until the early second round here.
LSU’s A.J. Haulcy was First Team All-SEC last year, playing all 12 games and tying for the team lead with 3 INTs. He has a dense build and is praised by Zierlein for having "a pro feel for reading the field."
Haulcy could make an immediate impact in a division that has QBs Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and possibly Aaron Rodgers throwing against the Browns.

Round 3, Pick 70: Sam Hecht (iOL, Kansas State)
The Browns use their early pick in round three to continue shoring up the offensive line, taking Center Sam Hecht out of Kansas State.
While the first-round pick of Fano was more structured to the run game, Hecht excels in pass protection, which might be big for a team with two young QBs.
