Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss scrambles and looks to make a passing attempt vs. Florida.

Following a week of chaos, college football is back, but Saturday, October 24, features only two top-25 matchups on the schedule. While today may lack the heavyweight bouts, last week taught us no one is safe from upsets, like #1 Georgia falling as 19.5-point favorites last week.

Several point spreads on PrizePicks are laced with upset potential, including #6 Indiana, #18 LSU, and #2 BYU all favored by just 7.5 points on the road. Meanwhile, #11 Tennessee is a 2.5-point underdog away from home vs. South Carolina.

Below, we’ll sift through Saturday’s schedule and circle the best college football picks for today, focusing on DFS options for player picks on PrizePicks.

Best College Football Picks Today for DFS on PrizePicks – Saturday, October 24

First up, we’ve got a player who may go off in Pittsburgh vs. #1 Miami at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN. Plus, more CFB picks catch the eye for #6 Indiana vs. Michigan (12:00 p.m. ET on FOX), #7 Ole Miss vs. #19 Texas (7:30 p.m. ET on ABC), and #14 Houston vs. #10 Utah (10:15 p.m. ET on ESPN).

Focusing on four NCAAF games, we’ve got the best Saturday college football picks highlighted for DFS. Today’s CFB predictions on Prizepicks are headlined by QB Darian Mensah, QB Trinidad Chambliss, and more.

Miami QB Darian Mensah vs. Pittsburgh: 267.5 Pass Yards

  • According to Game on Paper, Pittsburgh (47th in adjusted EPA per play) is Miami’s second-toughest test of the season. Wake Forest sits 10th out of 138 FBS teams, and the Hurricanes marched to a 33-20 win vs. the Demon Deacons.
  • While the Panthers boast some challenges, including a 38.1% success rate allowed (93rd percentile), they allow a 41.6% pass success rate (69th percentile) and 8.4 yards per passing attempt (16th percentile).
  • Meanwhile, Miami QB Darian Mensah has the second-shortest payout to win the Heisman Trophy (3.7x) on PrizePicks. He boasts 294.0 passing yards per game, 10.6 yards per passing attempt, 18 passing TDs, and 1 INT.
  • The Hurricanes usually give Mensah time in the pocket, yielding just a 7.8% havoc rate (98th percentile), via Fourth and Short.
  • With Pitt allowing 2.1 yards per carry (first nationally), Miami may need to drop back more than usual, and Mensah has surpassed this projection in two of his last three games.
Pick Darian Mensah + Miami to win on PrizePicks.

Indiana RB Turbo Richard vs. Michigan: 55.5 Rush Yards

  • Indiana is looking to bounce back from last week’s ugly 19-15 loss vs. #3 Ohio State, and Michigan is a sneaky opponent, ranking 12th nationally with +0.21 EPA per play. That opposes all the drama surrounding this Michigan program.
  • The Hoosiers’ run game failed last week, posting 73 rushing yards and 2.5 YPC, and that wasn’t diminished by sacks since OSU posted just 1 sack.
  • Frankly, I’m concerned about IU’s ability to run the ball this season, and that’s an issue considering the Hoosiers’ 54.32% rush play rate (65th percentile). Michigan cedes only 2.7 YPC (96th percentile) and a 37.7% rush success rate (88th percentile).
  • Turbo Richard took most of the work last week, tallying 16 carries to Lee Beebe Jr.’s 9. Richard had 46 rushing yards and 2.9 YPC vs. Ohio State.
  • In his last two, Richard has 28.0 rushing yards per game and 2.3 yards per attempt.
  • Turbo tallied 21 carries for 10+ yards over his first five games. However, he’s had 0 in his last two. Michigan limits explosives by yielding  0.3 open-field yards per rushing attempt (98th percentile).
Add Turbo Richard to your PrizePicks lineup.

Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss vs. Texas: 241.5 Pass Yards

  • Trinidad Chambliss has plenty to play for this weekend, such as his third-shortest payout to win the Heisman Trophy (5.88x) on PrizePicks. Plus, Chambliss is up to 12th on the 2027 Consensus Big Board, per NFL Mock Draft Database.
  • Ole Miss’ QB likely benefits from facing a Texas defense minus EDGE Colin Simmons (doubtful), who sports 26 pressures, 10 sacks, and 13 QB hurries in only six games.
  • If Simmons is out, Texas’ entire pass defense should take a hit — including a 38.8% pass success rate allowed (82nd percentile) and a 20.0% generated havoc rate (91st percentile).
  • Meanwhile, the Rebels give up only a 12.0% havoc rate (83rd percentile), and Chambliss torches opposing defenses with an 87.4 PFF player grade and a 75.6% adjusted completion percentage when kept clean in the pocket.
  • Chambliss totals 279.3 passing yards per game, and he’s succeeded vs. quality competition, such as his 363 passing yards vs. LSU — which is seventh nationally in pass success rate allowed.
Pick More or Less for Trinidad Chambliss’ Pass Yards on PrizePicks.

Utah WR Braden Pegan vs. Houston: 68.5 Receiving Yards

  • Houston vs. Utah could be headed for a shootout, featuring a 57.5 over/under on PrizePicks. Plus, each defense is outside the top 40 nationally in adjusted EPA per play allowed.
  • Between the two units, the Cougars look more vulnerable by giving up a 44.9% success rate (41st percentile) and 6.0 yards per play (28th percentile).
  • Houston is especially bad against the pass, surrendering 8.0 yards per passing attempt (28th percentile) and 0.26 EPA per pass (17th percentile).
  • Braden Pegan makes a living off explosives thanks to 13.2 yards per catch and a lofty 15.4 average depth of target.
  • Utah QB Devon Dampier has a beautiful deep ball, with 14 of his 15 big-time throws coming on 20+ yard passing attempts this season.
  • Houston’s defense allows a 1.64 pass explosiveness rate that ranks 102nd nationally out of 138 FBS teams.
  • Pegan has cleared this projection in three of his last four, averaging 77.3 receiving yards per game in the four-game split.
Add Braden Pegan to your PrizePicks lineup.

Make Saturday College Football Picks on PrizePicks

Across Saturday’s college football schedule, two Heisman contenders in Darian Mensah and Trinidad Chambliss stand out for DFS picks.

Further, Braden Pegan may generate more explosives in today’s best matchup: #14 Houston vs. #10 Utah. Meanwhile, #6 Indiana could be on upset alert due to struggles in the run game, including recent low totals from Turbo Richard.
