Best Week 5 NFL Anytime TD Scorer Picks for PrizePicks
This window in Week 5 has three games: Broncos vs. Chargers, Lions vs. Cardinals, and 49ers vs. Seahawks. Denver and Los Angeles have struggled on offense, but neither team has been elite on defense.
Detroit’s matchup against Arizona has a sky-high 54.5-point total, so we could see a good number of TDs from both teams. Elsewhere, San Francisco and Seattle are both inside the top 10 in PPG.
Anytime TDs on PrizePicks include rushing, receiving, recoveries, and returns. PrizePicks often list Anytime TDs as Demons and Goblins, meaning users can only select "More." For standard projections, users can select “More” or “Less.”
Demons are tougher to win but are the only way to get higher payouts. Meanwhile, Goblins are lower than a standard projection, but they are easier to win, so there’s a lower payout.
Here are the top NFL Week 5 Anytime TD scorer picks to target this weekend, headlined by Omarion Hampton, Trey McBride, and Emanuel Wilson.
Broncos vs. Chargers Anytime TD Scorer Prediction – 4:05 p.m. ET
Chargers RB Omarion Hampton: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)
- Hampton’s role has been trending in the wrong direction, as he saw season lows in carries (9) and snap share (35.2%) in Week 4. He could be in a full-blown committee with RBs Keaton Mitchell and Kimani Vidal.
- Despite that, he’s scored a TD in three of four games, including last week.
- Per Pro Football Reference, Hampton has been given 7 of the backfield’s 8 rushes inside the 10-yard line. He’s logged all 4 carries inside the 5-yard line.
- The Broncos have ceded the fourth-most rushing yards per game (142.8) and the sixth-most yards per attempt (4.8). Denver’s defense ranks 31st in rush EPA/play allowed (0.058), per RBSDM.
- When asked about Hampton’s recent decrease in snaps, offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel insists he hasn’t “lost any faith” in him.
- The Chargers are really banged up, which includes missing multiple offensive linemen. That might leave Hampton with limited holes to run through, but he's tied for seventh among RBs in missed tackles forced (15), per PFF.
Add Omarion Hampton + Chargers to win on PrizePicks.
Lions vs. Cardinals Anytime TD Scorer Prediction – 4:25 p.m. ET
Cardinals TE Trey McBride: 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)
- Over four games, McBride has tallied 13, 10, 11, and 12 targets. He leads Arizona with a 30.9% target share, per SumerSports.
- The TE's 11.5 targets per game are tied for third best in the NFL. McBride is also tied for the league lead in targets inside the 10-yard line (7).
- The Lions are giving up the second-most PPG (31.8) and the most YPG (423.8). They’re tied for a league-worst 2.75 passing TDs allowed per game.
- Detroit's defense sits 30th in dropback EPA/play (.294) and 31st in dropback success rate (53.0%).
- The Lions have allowed the most TDs to TEs this season with 6.
Add Trey McBride + Cardinals to win on PrizePicks.

49ers vs. Seahawks Anytime TD Scorer Prediction – 4:25 p.m. ET
Seahawks RB Emanuel Wilson: 0.5 Anytime TDs
- With RB Jadarian Price on injured reserve and RB Zach Charbonnet not ready to return yet, Wilson dominated touches in Seattle’s backfield last week. He rushed 21 times for 81 yards and a TD while also catching 3 of 4 targets for 39 yards and another score.
- Charbonnet has been ruled out for Week 5, and backup RB George Holani is questionable. Wilson could once again be in line for a significant workload.
- Week 4 was Wilson’s first game this season where he played over half the snaps (60.0%). Despite that, he still leads the team in carries inside the 20-yard line (11) and 10-yard line (9) by a wide margin.
- San Francisco’s defense has middling metrics against the run, ranking 14th in rush EPA/play allowed (-0.119) and 31st in rush success rate (46.7%).
- Per ESPN, the 49ers are 24th in run stop win rate (27%). PFF grades the team 20th in rush defense.
Add Emanuel Wilson + Seahawks to win on PrizePicks.
