The Philadelphia 76ers (21-16) travel to take on the Toronto Raptors (24-16) on Monday night at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto at 7:30 p.m. ET.

In a battle between two Eastern Conference playoff teams, the 76ers will be looking to exact some revenge, following a 116-115 overtime loss to the Raptors on Sunday.

The two teams find themselves right next to one another in the middle of the Eastern Conference standings — Raptors at No. 4 and 76ers at No. 5.

Below, we'll breakdown our 76ers vs. Raptors prediction and picks on PrizePicks, including player projections for C Joel Embiid and F Scottie Barnes.

76ers vs. Raptors Prediction, Spread, Over/Under

The Eastern Conference standings have been closely contested this season. Toronto currently sits in fourth place, while Philadelphia is just 1.5 games behind its opponent in fifth place.

The Raptors have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA, notching victories in six of their last eight games. Toronto certainly isn’t a juggernaut on the offensive end (averaging 114.1 PPG), but it really excels on defense.

According to NBA.com, the Raptors recorded a 112.1 defensive rating, ranking sixth in the NBA. Toronto also allows just 112.2 PPG (fifth-lowest in the league), while holding opponents to just a 34.5% clip from beyond the arc (fourth-lowest).

With SF Brandon Ingram out of the lineup on Sunday, the Raptors were paced by SF Scottie Barnes, who scored a team-high 31 points and dished out eight assists in Sunday’s win vs. the 76ers. Ingram is out again vs. the 76ers, in addition to RJ Barrett and C Jakob Poeltl, per ESPN.

While Ingram remains Toronto’s top scoring option when healthy, Barnes is a versatile forward who affects the game in a variety of ways. Barnes is averaging 19.1 PPG, but leads the team in rebounds (8.4), blocks (1.5), and steals (1.3).

The 76ers are following a down year in 2024-25 in which they missed the postseason. Philadelphia has bounced back in a big way and finds itself in the thick of the playoff race this season.

Head coach Nick Nurse has been extremely cautious when it comes to C Joel Embiid and F Paul George, who are coming off injury-plagued campaigns.

As has been the case on many occasions this season, Embiid and George sat out Sunday’s loss vs. the Raptors. Much like he has throughout the season, PG Tyrese Maxey shouldered the scoring load as he netted 38 points on 13-of-27 shooting to go along with five assists.

In January, the 76ers star point guard averaged 29.8 PPG and shot 45.7% from three.

Philadelphia registered back-to-back wins prior to falling to Toronto in the first leg of the back-to-back series.

On the injury front, Embiid (knee) and George (knee) are both likely game-time decisions for Monday’s contest, but both could play, seeing as they sat on Sunday.
