2026 Super Bowl Picks: Drake Maye to Lead the Game in Rush Yards?

Six months of NFL football have led us to this moment: the last football game of the year, Super Bowl LX. Sunday’s 2026 finale will pit the AFC Champion New England Patriots (14-3) vs. the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks (14-3), with a 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff on NBC.

Despite it being the last game of the season, there is still no shortage of ways to get in on real money action on Seahawks vs. Patriots — including picks on which player will lead the game in rushing yards on PrizePicks Team Picks.

Will it be Kenneth Walker III or Rhamondre Stevenson? Will QB scrambles make Drake Maye the leading rusher? Or is there a backup RB who could break a long one?

Let’s break down two players to target for your Patriots vs. Seahawks most rushing yards picks, including two long-shot picks with payouts over 5x on PrizePicks Team Picks.

2026 Super Bowl Picks, Payouts: Most Rushing Yards for Seahawks vs. Patriots

Here’s the full list of Seahawks vs. Patriots most rushing yards picks on PrizePicks Team Picks.

Not surprisingly, both teams’ starting running backs stand out as the most likely players to lead Super Bowl LX in rushing yards, according to projected payouts.

  • Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker: 2.32x No | 1.56x Yes
  • Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson: 1.29x No | 3.33x Yes
  • Patriots QB Drake Maye: 1.05x No | 7.69x Yes
  • Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson: 1.02x No | 14.28x Yes
  • Seahawks QB Sam Darnold: N/A No | 33.33x Yes
  • Seahawks RB George Holani: N/A No | 33.33x Yes

Team Picks data is live as of writing and is subject to change.

Most Rushing Yards in Super Bowl LX: Why Not The Favorites?

The analysis of these two picks is primarily based on my respect for both run defenses.

Obviously, the safe call would be to take either of the lead RBs to lead this game in rushing, as they will receive the most rush attempts and thus have the most opportunities to accrue yardage. The payouts above speak to such.

You can argue that these are the two best-run defenses in the NFL. According to SumerSports, the Seahawks' run defense ranks first in expected points added (EPA) per play vs. the rush at -.15. They have also given up the third-least amount of rushing yards this season (1,558).

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson

There is some expectation for the Seahawks to be playing from ahead as 4.5-point favorites, according to PrizePicks Team Picks; that could make New England less run-heavy. When they do run with RB Rhamondre Stevenson, we expect the best run defense in football to limit his explosive gains.

Stevenson is also 28th among qualifying RBs in explosive runs of over 10+ yards, according to PFF, with just 15 on the season.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III

For Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III, the path isn’t any easier. The Patriots' run defense ranks third in the league in yards per carry allowed to running backs, seventh in negative run rate forced, and third in explosive run rate allowed.

They also rank sixth overall in rushing yards allowed (1,729), despite missing their best run defender, DL Milton Williams, for five games, and their leading tackler, LB Robert Spillane, for four games this season.

Walker has the ability — shown by his 33 explosive runs (sixth in NFL) this season — and lack of competition for touches, but for the season, he is just 29th in negative run rate.

Patriots vs. Seahawks Most Rushing Yards Predictions for Super Bowl LX

Instead of paying a premium for two starting running backs in tough draws on paper, it could be worth looking for higher upside opportunities on players to lead the game in rushing by banking on explosives from two other candidates.

Patriots QB Drake Maye

Taking Maye to record the most rushing yards in Seahawks vs. Patriots on PrizePicks Team Picks pays out 7.69x — or $769 on a $100 entry, if you're right.

  • Drake Maye ranked first among all qualified QBs in scramble rate during the regular season. He also ranks third in scramble rate in the playoffs.
  • During the regular season, Maye ranked fourth in scramble rate against pressure.
  • The Seahawks defense has generated the third-most pressure in the playoffs and the sixth-most during the regular season.
  • Seattle’s defense, during the regular season, faced the second-most scrambles of any team in the NFL.
  • Maye has clearly made a more concerted effort to use his legs in the playoffs. He has recorded his two highest rushing yard totals during the postseason, with 66 vs. the Chargers and 65 vs. the Broncos.
  • Either of those numbers could easily be the most rushing yards in this game if the opposing run defenses are able to bottle up the running backs.

Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson

Taking Henderson to record the most rushing yards in Seahawks vs. Patriots on PrizePicks Team Picks pays out 14.28x — or $1,428 on a $100 entry, if you're right.

  • TreVeyon Henderson has destroyed split-safety looks all season. He has 68 carries, 319 yards, 2 TDs, 4.7 YPC, and a 55.9% success rate, best in the league among qualified RBs.
  • New England only saw 2-high shells 42.3% of the time this season, the second-lowest rate in the league.
  • Seattle’s defense led the league in 2-high safety looks this season at 78.3%. They allowed 5.0 YPC and a 43.3% success rate on designed runs from those looks.
  • Henderson has two games this season in which he has had a carry of 60+ yards; as mentioned above, that could be all it takes to lead this game in rushing yards.
  • Despite clearly being second in line to carries behind Stevenson in the playoffs, it can’t be understated that Henderson led this team in regular-season rushing yards by a wide margin — 911 vs. 603 for Stevenson.
