The Green Bay Packers are coming off a disappointing 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 9. Prior to the loss, the Packers were riding high with a three-game winning streak and had just come off a convincing 35-25 victory over the Steelers in Week 8.
QB Jordan Love struggled against Carolina — 8 sacks, 1 pick, no TDs — due in part to TE Tucker Kraft’s third-quarter injury that ended his night and may sideline him for the remainder of the season. (That said, considering the barrage of sacks, it was quite apparent that G.B.'s offensive line didn't help Love.)
Let's get a Tucker Kraft injury update and discuss what it means for Green Bay’s offense, and who can replace him.

Adam Schefter announced that Tucker Kraft suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. Kraft leads the Packers’ offense with 489 receiving yards and 6 TDs, catching 32 of 44 targets.
Packers WR Romeo Doubs is the only other player on the team with more than 1 TD. He is second on the team with 441 receiving yards and 4 TDs, with a team-high 34 receptions on 52 targets.
Replacing Kraft’s production will be difficult. He’s been Love’s top playmaker with 344 YAC, including a 59-yard grab, the third-longest grab among all tight ends.
Outside of Kraft, Green Bay’s TEs have struggled to contribute consistently. TEs Luke Musgrave and John Fitzpatrick have combined for just 14 receptions on 15 targets for 112 yards and 1 TD.
Up next, Green Bay has a pivotal home matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. How will the Packers handle Kraft’s absence, and which player stands to benefit most in their Week 10 tilt in FantasyLand
Green Bay Packers Fantasy Football Fallout
Love struggled when targeting players aside from Kraft in Week 9. He was out of sync with the WR corps, resulting in his worst outing of the season, passing for 273 yards with no TDs and 1 INT, and just an 80.1 passer rating.
Kraft leaves behind an 18.6% target share (second on the team) that opens up a big opportunity for someone to fill that void. While Doubs leads the team with a 22.2% target share, it’s WR Christian Watson (11.4% target share in two games) and rookie WR Matthew Golden (12.4% target share) who will need to bring it.
When it comes to the Packers’ offense, they usually run 11 personnel, one TE, one RB, and three WRs on 55.62% of their snaps. After Kraft went down with an injury in the third quarter, it was Musgrave who stepped up to fill the void.
The fourth-year TE finished Week 9 catching all 3 targets for 34 yards (11.3 ypc), third on the team in targets and receiving yards. Fantasy managers seeking a replacement after Kraft’s season-ending injury should consider Musgrave.
