Six teams will be on a bye in Week 8, three of which are the Lions, Seahawks, and Rams. That means some of the best wide receivers in the league — including Detroit Lion Amon-Ra St. Brown and Seattle Seahawk Jaxon Smith-Njigba — won’t be in action.

Still, there are plenty of WRs who are set up to potentially thrive based on their matchups. The same can be said for a couple of star RBs in Atlanta Falcon Bijan Robinson and Philadelphia Eagle RB Saquon Barkley.

Below, we'll discuss Robinson and Barkley, and get into more of the top Week 8 NFL DFS picks for PrizePicks, including some quick picks to keep in mind.

  • Despite being on the injury report heading into a Week 7 matchup with the Saints, Swift ran 19 times for 124 yards and 1 TD.

Top Week 8 NFL DFS Predictions, Picks for PrizePicks

Here are the top NFL DFS picks for Week 8. Player projections via the PrizePicks real money NFL game.

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson vs. Dolphins Projection – 89.5 Rush Yards

  • Robinson has received at least 17 carries in three of his six games.
  • The former first-round pick is averaging a career-high 5.4 yards per carry.
  • Per 4for4 Football, the Dolphins have given up the second-highest explosive rush rate (13.8%) in the league.
  • Across their last three games, the Dolphins allowed Panthers RB Rico Dowdle, Chargers RB Kimani Vidal, and Browns RB Quinshon Judkins to combine for 414 rushing yards.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley vs. Giants Projection – 78.5 Rush Yards

  • It has been a disappointing start for Barkley, who has yet to top 88 rushing yards in a game this season. In four of his outings, he finished with fewer than 50 rushing yards.
  • Barkley’s struggles haven’t been because of a lack of work. The Eagles have given him at least 18 carries in five of their seven games.
  • When he faced the Giants in Week 6, he had 58 rushing yards despite being given just 12 carries.
  • The Giants have allowed 5.2 yards per carry to running backs, the the third-highest mark in the NFL.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton vs. Cowboys Projection – 61.5 Receiving Yards

  • Sutton caught 6 of 10 targets for 87 yards in a huge comeback win over the Giants in Week 7.
  • While Sutton had a rare Week 6 dud in which he had just 1 catch against the Jets, he has posted at least 81 receiving yards in four of his last five games.
  • The standout WR has accounted for 33.9% of the Broncos’ air yards.
  • The Cowboys’ offense has been scoring points in bunches, but their defense has allowed the most passing yards per game (260.3) in the league.

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan vs. Bills Projection – 55.5 Receiving Yards

  • McMillan has finished with at least 62 receiving yards in four of his seven games.
  • The rookie wideout has accounted for 24.2% of the Panthers’ targets this season.
  • The former University of Arizona standout has an average depth of target of 11.6 yards and has received 39.6% of the Panthers’ air yards.
  • Panthers QB Andy Dalton will replace injured QB Bryce Young (ankle), which might not be a bad thing for McMillan, as Young only had an average target depth of 7.2 yards.

Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson vs. Eagles Projection – 51.5 Receiving Yards

  • Robinson has been targeted at least 7 times in each of his last three games. In two of those games, he posted at least 84 receiving yards.
  • After having a paltry average depth of target of 4.6 yards last season, he's double that (9.2 yards) here in '25.
  • Even if WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) is able to return for Week 8, the Giants are still missing star WR Malik Nabers (knee).
  • In a Week 6 battle with the Eagles, Robinson caught 6 of 7 targets for 84 yards and 1 TD.

Broncos TE Evan Engram vs. Cowboys Projection – 30.5 Receiving Yards

  • Engram logged 5 receptions for 42 yards against the Giants in Week 7.
  • Since returning from injury, Engram has received at least 6 targets in four straight games.
  • With the former Jaguar having such a significant role, he has finished with at least 33 receiving yards in each of the last three games.
  • The Cowboys are tied for the sixth-most receptions allowed to tight ends (42) in the NFL.

Sutton, McMillan, Robinson, and Engram might not be among the biggest names in the league, but all four pass-catchers are looking at favorable matchups for Week 8. Robinson will look to continue the Dolphins’ struggles at slowing down running backs, while Barkley will try to get back on track for the Eagles while facing his former team for the second time this season.
