The 2025 NFL schedule-makers didn't expect the evening to look like this.

The four teams that will be in action for Monday Night Football in Week 4 — the Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins — have combined for just three wins. This doesn’t exactly scream exciting matchups, so let’s try and spice things up with some projections on PrizePicks, including a few interesting options in the pass-catching department.

Below, we'll discuss Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase, Dolphins RB De'Von Achane and two other player picks for PrizePicks.

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase vs. Broncos Projection: 5.5 Receptions

  • After recording at least 100 receptions in both of the last two seasons, Chase has 21 receptions through three games this year.
  • The star wideout has accounted for 29.0% of the Bengals’ targets this season.
  • While the Bengals are down to their second quarterback in Jake Browning, he has completed 67.8% of his passes this season. When he filled in for injured Bengals QB Joe Burrow in 2023, he completed 70.4% of his attempts.
  • In the last two games with Browning at quarterback, Chase has caught 19 of his 22 targets.
  • Chase had 22 drops over the first two seasons of his career. Since the start of the 2023 season, he has totaled just 14 drops.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson vs. Dolphins Projection: 5.5 Receptions

  • Jets QB Justin Fields has been cleared to return after sitting out Week 3 with a concussion.
  • Wilson has been targeted at least 8 times in all three games this season and has received 39.0% of the Jets’ targets.
  • The former Ohio State star has seen 30 total targets. The player with the next most targets on the Jets is RB Breece Hall with 13. No other New York wide receiver has accounted for more than 6 targets.
  • The Dolphins have allowed the highest completion rate (78.8%) in the NFL.

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane vs. Jets Projection: 5.5 Receptions

  • Achane hasn’t seen more than 12 carries in a game this season. However, he received 26.4% of the Dolphins’ receiving targets.
  • The former Texas A&M Aggie his been a dual threat out of the backfield, posting back-to-back performances of at least 7 receptions.
  • Last season, the Dolphins’ speedster recorded at least 6 receptions in four of his final six games. That included a Week 14 matchup with the Jets in which he caught 6 of 7 targets for 45 yards.
  • The Jets have one of the best cornerbacks in the league in Sauce Gardner, which could make for a long night for Dolphins’ WR Tyreek Hill.
  • Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa has been utilizing a lot of short passes and check-downs to running backs, leaving him with an average target depth of only 6.8 yards this year.

Broncos QB Bo Nix vs. Bengals Projection: 31.5 Pass Attempts

  • After attempting 40 passes and throwing for just 176 yards in Week 1, Nix has posted 30 or fewer pass attempts in both of his last two games.
  • Nix hasn't been blowing us away with his legs, producing 19 rushing attempts through three games.
  • The Broncos have had success running the ball this year: Denver RB J.K. Dobbins is averaging 5.4 yards per carry, while his backfield buddy, rookie RJ Harvey, is averaging 6.2 yards per carry.
  • The Bengals have scored 17 or fewer points in both of their road games this season.
  • In four career road starts, Browning has recorded just 4 TDs to go along with 5 INTs.

Make NFL Picks, Win Cash on PrizePicks

In the MNF doubleheader opener, Achane’s pass-catching prowess out of the backfield could make him a significant contributor for the Dolphins, while in the nightcap, Chase will be front and center, as Cincy aims to get on track without the hobbled Burrow (toe).
