The Detroit Lions travel to Philadelphia for a prime-time showdown with massive NFC implications. The Eagles enter Sunday at 7–2, holding a slight edge over the 6–3 Lions as both teams fight for the conference’s top seed.

Detroit comes in banged up. LT Penei Sewell (ankle) is questionable, TE Sam LaPorta (back) is out, and two starting CBs may also miss the matchup. Despite the injuries, the Lions are riding momentum after a 44-22 win over the Commanders.

Philadelphia, meanwhile, is trending in the opposite direction physically. For one of the first times all year, the Eagles are close to fully healthy, fresh off a 10-7 prime-time win over the Packers.

Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC at Lincoln Financial Field, with both teams looking to make a statement in the NFC playoff race. Use PrizePicks to make top SNF picks for Lions vs. Eagles tonight.

Sunday Night Football Picks for Lions vs. Eagles in Week 11

Here are the top PrizePicks player projections and picks to monitor for SNF when the Lions take on the Eagles in prime time.

Lions WR Jameson Williams Projection vs. Eagles: 59.5 Receiving Yards

  • The one glaring weakness in Philadelphia’s defense is the CB2 spot, where veteran Adoree' Jackson has struggled. Jackson ranks 97th out of 109 qualifying CBs in coverage, per Pro Football Focus, allowing 10.7 yards per reception and 21 catches on just 163 coverage snaps.
  • That puts WR Jameson Williams in a prime position to exploit this secondary. Williams’ blend of elite speed and deep-threat separation makes him a nightmare for corners who can’t turn and run.
  • Williams ranks 16th in receiving TDs (4), and he’s top-five in both yards per reception (17.6) and yards after the catch per reception (7.8). When QB Jared Goff targets him, Williams returns a 127.5 passer rating, forming one of the best QB-WR efficiency marks in the league.
  • Williams also enters Week 11 coming off a breakout stretch, including 119 yards vs. Washington and 10 total receptions across his last two games.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith Projection vs. Lions: 57.5 Receiving Yards

  • Detroit CB Terrion Arnold is in concussion protocol, leaving Detroit with Amik Robertson, a 5'8" CB who's struggled in coverage, on the outside.
  • When targeted, Robertson ranks 60th in coverage (via PFF) along with 12.5 yards yielded per reception, making him one of the more vulnerable defensive backs in this Lions secondary.
  • Smith steps into this matchup as Philadelphia’s statistical WR1, even if the depth chart still lists him behind A.J. Brown.
  • The former ranks top 15 in the NFL in receiving yards (657) and receptions (48). He’s also been surging over his last three games with outputs of 183, 84, and 69 yards, totaling 19 catches over that stretch.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Projection vs. Lions: 207.5 Passing Yards

  • Jalen Hurts is putting together another strong season for Philadelphia, ranking inside the top 20 in passing yards (1,086) and top 15 in passing TDs (16).
  • Hurts' ball security also stands out — he's thrown just one INT all year, which is the best mark among starting QBs.
  • This matchup is tailor-made for Hurts’ strengths. Detroit runs man coverage at one of the highest rates in the NFL, and Hurts has been one of the league’s most prominent QBs against it.
  • In 2025, Hurts ranks second in passing TDs vs. man (12) while being fifth in EPA/pass (according to SumerSports) and sixth in passing yards (633).
