Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield — 233.5 Passing Yards

  • Mayfield finished third in the NFL in passing yards last season with a career-high 4,500 yards.
  • In the season-opening victory over Atlanta, Mayfield was limited to 167 passing yards. It marked the sixth game since the start of 2024 in which Mayfield threw for less than 200 yards.
  • Mayfield put together an EPA per play of .299 against the Falcons last week. That number eclipsed his average from last season, which sat at .212 in a career season.
  • Among all starting QB’s in the league through two games, PFF has graded Mayfield at 57.0, ranking 27th overall.
  • The Texans allowed Rams QB Matthew Stafford to throw for 245 yards. In seven of the last 11 games, Houston has yielded at least 234 passing yards.

Texans RB Nick Chubb — 50.5 Rushing Yards

  • In Houston's season opening loss to the Rams, Chubb posted 60 rushing yards on 13 carries.
  • The once-mighty back faces a Tampa Bay rush defense that limited Atlanta to 69 yards in Week 1; most notably, they held fantasy darling RB Bijan Robinson to 24 yards on 12 carries.
  • In eight games with the Browns last season, Chubb failed to reach more than 50 yards rushing in six outings.
  • The Bucs limited opponents to 97.8 rushing yards per game in 2024, which ranked fourth in the NFL.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert — 1.5 TD Passes

  • Herbert torched the Chiefs in the season opener with 3 TD passes in a 27-21 victory in Brazil.
  • In nine of his first 13 starts last season, Herbert was limited to 1 or fewer TD passes.
  • However, the sixth-year QB closed the regular season with four consecutive multi-TD performances.
  • In the two meetings with the Raiders last season, Herbert threw a TD pass in a home win and tossed a pair of tuddies in the season finale.
  • In five of their last seven games, Las Vegas held opposing QB’s to 1 or less TD passes, including New England’s Drake Maye to a single touchdown toss.

Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers — 60.5 Receiving Yards

  • Meyers put together a terrific season opener against the Patriots, compiling 97 yards on 8 receptions.
  • In nine of 15 games last season, the veteran eclipsed 61 receiving yards, including in both matchups against Los Angeles.
  • In the 2024 finale against the Chargers, Meyers put up a season-high 123 receiving yards.
  • Meyers has never finished a season higher than 25th in PFF’s offensive grades among receivers. Although it’s only one week, the former N.C. State standout ranks 12th at PFF in offensive grades at 74.7.
  • The Chargers closed last season ranked seventh in the league in passing yards allowed (206.9).
  • L.A. yielded 258 passing yards to Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes in the opener, while the leading receiver was Hollywood Brown with 99 yards.
