NBA Summer League Picks Today, Schedule – Monday, July 13
Before we dive into our picks for PrizePicks, let’s look at the full NBA Summer League schedule for Monday, July 13.
Today’s slate is headlined by a doubleheader on ESPN, beginning with the Mavericks vs. Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. ET. This should provide a high-level frontcourt matchup, as Dallas features the No. 9 pick Morez Johnson Jr., while No. 3 pick Cameron Boozer mans the power forward spot for Memphis.
The Bulls vs. Jazz was the most anticipated matchup of the day with two top four 2026 picks colliding. However, Jazz G Darryn Peterson is resting on Monday.
Chicago F Caleb Wilson will take the spotlight as the talk of the town. He comes off a record 35 points for a Summer League debut on July 10.
Without further ado, let’s look at three NBA Summer League picks for today, backed by player stats.

Pistons G Ebuka Okorie vs. Knicks: 19.5 Points
- In the first matchup of the day, Pistons G Ebuka Okorie takes on the Knicks. Detroit’s No. 17 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft has posted 20 and 14 points in his first two appearances.
- Following July 9’s 20 points and 50.0% field goal percentage (FG%), Okorie’s efficiency dropped to a 29.4 FG% with 14 points on July 12. He’s now made only 2 of 7 3-point shots (28.6%) in the Summer League.
- Okorie’s 3-point shot was labeled a potential weakness throughout the draft process, as he shot a mediocre 35.4% from deep in the 2025-26 season at Stanford.
- Detroit has put its rookie in a prominent role with 16.5 field goal attempts per game; that usage could provide comfort to his point projection, even with a low 3-point volume.
- According to The 5th Factor, he’s relying on getting to the paint with a 50.0% rim rate (67th percentile). Okorie’s ability to attack the basket is leading to a 57.8% true shooting percentage (69th percentile).

Cavaliers G Meleek Thomas vs. Heat: 17.5 Points
- Maleek Thomas was one of the surprise slides of the 2026 NBA Draft, falling to the Cavaliers in the second round. So far, he’s proved his doubters wrong by posting 25.0 points per game (PPG) in the NBA Summer League.
- He’s enjoying a hefty role with 19.5 shots per game and a 24.1% usage rate (73rd percentile).
- After draining 41.6% of his 3-point looks at Arkansas, Thomas has carried that to the Summer League by cashing in 6 of 15 attempted triples (40.0%) through two outings.
- The former Razorback’s 3-point shot was perhaps his biggest strength as a prospect, but his 53.3% rim rate (75th percentile) points to his three-level scoring potential.
- Thomas has surpassed this projection in both Summer League games.

Bulls F Caleb Wilson vs. Jazz: 20.5 Points
- Caleb Wilson had the best Summer League debut you could imagine. In fact, his 35 points set the record for the highest point total in a Summer League debut.
- He did it all, from getting to the rim to logging 3 blocks thanks to chasedown highlights. Wilson’s 7-of-11 finish from 3-point land should be at the forefront.
- Ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft, few were questioning his athleticism or ability to get to the rim. However, his jumper was a clear worry after shooting 25.9% on 3-pointers at North Carolina.
- As the No. 4 pick stated following his debut, his UNC role didn’t ask him to shoot many treys, proven by 1.1 3-point attempts per game in the 2025-26 season.
- Frankly, his 25.9% 3-point percentage holds little weight with 27 attempts for the entire season. His 11 3-point shots on July 10 were nearly half of his entire freshman year total.
- With that said, Wilson’s outside shot could be much better than we assumed. If that’s the case, his ceiling is just as high as his counterparts, like Wizards F AJ Dybantsa and Jazz G Darryn Peterson.
- Wilson still managed to post 19.8 PPG at UNC with only 0.3 made triples per game. If he truly holds three-level scoring, we could see the Bulls rookie reach the 20-point threshold like clockwork.
