Ravens vs. Vikings Prediction, NFL Week 10 Picks: Trust Justin Jefferson

Week 10's Ravens vs. Vikings matchup is one that, back in September, people were frothing at the mouth to see. Two top teams that didn’t get their due in 2024 would get to face off, hopefully with massive playoff implications on the line for both on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX.

Things have changed slightly, as both teams have experienced long periods without their starting QBs. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson missed several weeks with a hamstring injury, while Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy suffered a high-ankle sprain and missed nearly two months of action.

The Ravens have stacked back-to-back wins, and the Vikings are coming off a 27-24 triumph over the Detroit Lions, so both sides likely come into this matchup feeling good. With that said, they have plenty of work to do to reach the lofty aspirations that they entered the season with.

Let’s take a look at our Ravens vs. Vikings prediction and NFL Week 10 picks, including key stats and PrizePicks projections you need to know for this crucial clash.

Ravens vs. Vikings Prediction, Week 10 Football Picks

In this top-tier matchup between out-of-conference powers, let’s preview each team and see how they stack up against one another.

Baltimore Ravens Preview vs. Vikings

The Ravens have gotten progressively healthier each time they’ve played the last couple of weeks, so things are continuing to clear up. Jackson being back papers over a lot of issues on the offensive side of the ball. He played at his normal MVP contender-level self in last week’s return to action against the Miami Dolphins, throwing for 4 TDs and completing over 78% of his passes in a 28-6 blowout win.

On the defensive side of the ball, things are a bit murky for the AFC North heavyweights. They have lost multiple starters on the defensive line to season-ending injuries and now have to face top-tier talents in WRs Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

The Ravens’ secondary may be tested in this one, and they have certainly given up some yardage to WRs this season (1,283, to be exact), so it'll be interesting to see how they handle things.

Minnesota Vikings Preview vs. Ravens

McCarthy wasn’t perfect against the Lions, but he made several big throws that were key to the upset victory and contributed 3 TDs of his own.

This game could be the turning point of the season for the Vikings, as they’ve scratched and clawed their way to a 4-4 record. They currently sit fourth in the NFC North in what was always going to be a tightly-contested divisional race, but have an opportunity against Baltimore to grab a key win.

The Vikings were banged up but are getting some good news. OT Christian Darrisaw practiced in full on Wednesday and then got his normal rest day off on Thursday, while veteran RB Aaron Jones, who suffered a shoulder injury last week, was upgraded to a limited practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday.

Ravens vs. Vikings Same-Game Picks for PrizePicks

Here are two Ravens vs. Vikings same-game player picks for Week 10, spotlighting key projections to watch for WR Justin Jefferson and TE Isaiah Likely.

You can choose More or Less on these projections on PrizePicks — along with plenty of others — for a chance to win real money this NFL season.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson Projection vs. Ravens: 76.5 Receiving Yards

  • Jefferson continues to be a matchup nightmare for CBs, no matter who the team is. He has been his normal dependable self, with at least 6 targets in every game this season.
  • While Jefferson has only hit this projection in 4/8 games this season, this is a spot where he could play a big role. Per FTN, the Ravens have given up the fourth-most receiving yards to the WR1 position, with over 78 yards per game given up.
  • Baltimore has also surrendered at least 77 receiving yards to a WR in five of eight games.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely Projection vs. Vikings: 26.5 Receiving Yards

  • Likely broke his foot this summer, which drastically slowed him down heading into a year he may have been expected to take on a much larger role.
  • We saw a glimpse of this in last week’s game against the Dolphins, when Likely caught 3 of 4 targets for 60 yards in Jackson’s return to action.
  • The Vikings are weak against the TE position and struggle to contain them well. Minnesota has allowed 11 different ones to have at least 2 receptions in a game against them.
  • TEs could be a big part of the Ravens’ offensive game plan, since Minnesota allows the second-fewest receptions per game to opposing WRs. The Ravens would be wise to get Likely in space, where he’s at his best.
