There’s no rivalry quite like a divisional rivalry, and Thursday night’s matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Denver Broncos should bring plenty of intensity under the lights at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
The Raiders are looking to put their recent struggles in the rearview mirror and find some semblance of momentum in the AFC West, while the Broncos aim to keep their winning streak alive and continue asserting dominance at home. Both teams likely know this one could shape the rest of their season.
It’s also a meeting of two quarterbacks with something to prove — one looking to cement his place as a long-term starter, and the other battling to spark consistency in a talented but uneven offense.
Check out our Raiders vs. Broncos predictions, Thursday Night Football pick, and the key stats and PrizePicks projections to know ahead of kickoff.
Raiders vs. Broncos Predictions, Thursday Night Football Picks
The Raiders and Broncos both have plenty on the line in this primetime AFC West clash, so let’s break down some key stats and see how each team stacks up heading into Thursday night.
Las Vegas Raiders Preview vs. Broncos
With the Raiders trading WR Jakobi Meyers the Jacksonville Jaguars for a couple of mid-round picks earlier this week, the AFC West cellar dwellers are a bit thin in the proven wide receiver cupboard.
Alongside stud TE Brock Bowers, we should expect to see plenty of WR Tre Tucker and WR Dont’e Thornton in this game, but this is an excellent chance for the Raiders to send out 2025 second-round rookie WR Jack Bech for his first extended play time of the season. Bech was a pre-draft process star who played college ball at TCU and is a natural replacement for Meyers’ style of play.
Denver Broncos Preview vs. Raiders
The Broncos have stumbled a bit in the last few games, but they come into this week somehow riding a six-game win streak following a miraculous comeback against the New York Giants and a squeaker of a win against the Houston Texans last week.
QB Bo Nix has had better stretches of his career despite throwing 8 touchdown passes across his last three games. He looked putrid for about 65% of both of the above contests and really had to turn things on late to eke out wins in each.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Broncos will be without standout CB Pat Surtain II in this game as he continues to work his way back from an injured pectoral muscle suffered a few weeks ago. This could be a major hit for the Broncos trying to defend against Bowers after giving up over 70 yards to tight ends in two of their last three games.
Raiders vs. Broncos Same-Game Picks for PrizePicks
Here are two Raiders vs. Broncos same-game player picks for Week 10, spotlighting key projections to watch for Brock Bowers and RJ Harvey.
You can choose More or Less on these projections on PrizePicks — along with plenty of others — for a chance to win real money this NFL season.
Broncos RB RJ Harvey Projections vs. Raiders: 0.5 Rush + Rec TDs (Demon)
As seen in the tweet above, Harvey is becoming a multi-use tool for the Broncos’ offense. With 6 total touchdowns this season despite minimal touches, Harvey has a nose for the end zone and is frequently used inside the 20-yard line.
The Raiders have struggled to defend against running backs in the red zone, ranking 29th in fantasy points allowed inside the 20 to the position this season, per Lineups. If this game starts to get out of hand, we could see more touches allotted to the second-round rookie.
Raiders TE Brock Bowers Projections vs. Broncos: 6 Receptions
With Meyers gone, and Thornton,Tucker, Bech, and the newly acquired Tyler Lockett the only wide receivers available for the Raiders, it would be a shock if Bowers did not see a sizable target share from QB Geno Smith.
Bowers has racked up at least 6 targets in four of his five available games this season, and with the Broncos playing considerably better than the Raiders, we could see them build a lead and force Vegas into a pass-heavy game script.
