NFL Playoffs Bracket 2026 Schedule
The bracket is simple: 14 teams play in a single-elimination bracket. The No. 1 seeds on each side get a bye in the Wild Card round. Games are all win-or-go-home.
Here is the schedule for the 2026 NFL Playoffs.
- NFL Wild Card Weekend — Jan. 10-12, 2026
- NFL Divisional Round — Jan. 17-18, 2026
- NFL Conference Championship — Jan. 25, 2026
- Super Bowl LX — Feb. 8, 2026
What Teams Are in the NFL Playoffs Bracket 2026?
There are 14 teams at the start of the 2026 NFL Playoffs — seven in the NFC, seven in the AFC. That was cut to eight for the Divisional Round; four for the Conference Championships; and just two remain for Super Bowl LX.
Each conference’s seven teams consist of four division winners and three wild card winners — the three teams with the best records in the conference that didn’t win their division.
Super Bowl LX Spread, Over/Under, Payouts to Win: Seahawks vs. Patriots
The Seahawks enter Super Bowl LX as 4.5-point favorites, returning a 1.4x payout on PrizePicks Team Picks if they win outright.
The Patriots are the underdogs with a 2.77x payout if they win, via PrizePicks Team Picks.
The Super Bowl 60 point spread opened after the AFC Championship at Seahawks or Rams -3.5 and was quickly moved to 4.5 after the Seahawks won the NFC Championship, 31-27.
The over/under opened at 46.5, but has since moved down to 45.5 on Team Picks.
Spread: Seattle Seahawks -4.5 (1.81x payout)
Total: 45.5 (1.85x payout)
Game Winner Payout: Patriots 2.77x | Seahawks 1.4x

What better way to cap off one of the strangest NFL seasons in recent memory than a pair of wild card teams clashing in the Super Bowl?
On the AFC side, the Broncos’ defense gets a ton of due credit for keeping the team in prime position to make a run. At the end of the day, though, it’s hard to trust QB Bo Nix and a Denver offense that ranked 19th in points per drive to bring home a ring.
The No. 2-seeded Patriots also deserve props for making a leap. Even with an MVP candidate in QB Drake Maye, the rest of the roster doesn’t appear ready to seriously contend just yet.
Instead, I’m rolling with reigning MVP Josh Allen to Superman his Bills to the Super Bowl. Powering football’s third-best offense (in EPA/play, per SumerSports) and backed by just enough of a pass defense, the playoffs’ best player earns a trip to Levi’s Stadium.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, I’d opt for several of the NFC contenders to take them down in the biggest game of the year.
Seattle’s elite run defense and explosive offense is a lethal duo. Philadelphia has proven title DNA. What head coach Kyle Shanahan has done with the 49ers deserves endless praise.
The conference has multiple intriguing championship-caliber clubs; each of the top five teams in ESPN’s Football Power Index resides in the NFC. It’s one we haven’t mentioned yet that takes the cake for me, though.
In a projected NFC championship game between NFC West rivals, the Rams would have a better head coach, QB, and tandem of WRs. After that, ironically, it could be Buffalo’s 31st-ranked run defense that comes back to bite them on the grandest of stages in a Los Angeles triumph.

I like the potential path for the Texans in the Playoffs; their defense can put clamps on the Steelers in the Wild Card Round. If the Bills can then knock off the Jaguars, the Texans would avoid the Broncos in the Divisional Round.
I think that scenario unfolds and the Texans ride their stellar defense to the AFC Championship game. However, their run ends there with a loss to the Broncos.
The Broncos have home-field advantage throughout, and they also have a great defense, allowing just 0.9 more points per game than the Texans.
Over on the NFC side, the only first-round upset I see is the Packers knocking off the Bears. The Panthers making it to the playoffs is an incredible story, but look for the Rams to avenge their Week 13 loss to them with a convincing victory in their rematch.
As frustrating as the Eagles’ offense can be at times, the 49ers have too many issues on defense to knock out the defending champs.
We could be on a collision course to the Rams and Seahawks facing off again, this time in the NFC Championship. They split their two regular season meetings, and the two games were decided by a total of three points.
I just can’t pick San Darnold over Matthew Stafford in the playoffs, so I’ll take the Rams to face the Broncos in the Super Bowl.
I’ll again lean on the experience at the quarterback position and take the Rams to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy when all is said and done.

In the Wild Card Round, I expect some upsets in the wide-open AFC, with the Chargers knocking off the Patriots, the Texans winning in Pittsburgh, and the underdog Jaguars winning at home vs. the Bills.
Over in the NFC, I’m expecting plenty of chalk, with the Rams, Eagles, and Bears moving on.
I’ll take the Texans and Rams to knock off their divisional rivals — the Jaguars and Seahawks, respectively — in the next round, while the Bears and Broncos hold court at home.
Both as No. 5 seeds, the Rams and Texans, continue Super Bowl runs, each getting their third road win in a row to advance to Super Bowl LX.
We were on the Los Angeles Rams in July, and that is not changing now. Yes, they stumbled down the stretch, going 3-3, and falling out of the NFC West/No. 1 seed lead. But they are still the best team in football.
No other team is ranked top five in DVOA in both offense and defense. Rams win Super Bowl LX.

This feels like the year Josh Allen can jump over the hurdle to reach the Super Bowl, mainly because he doesn’t have to face the Chiefs. Allen has a career 7-6 record in the playoffs, but four of those losses are against Kansas City.
The Bills have reached four Super Bowls, but each time they have ended in heartbreak. The ghosts of Super Bowl past may haunt the Buffalo; I’m taking the Rams to defeat the Bills.
The Rams are one of the more balanced teams in the NFL; their offense leads the league in success rate (52.2%) and their defensive success rate ranks seventh (41.8%). After missing the final two games with a hamstring injury, the return of WR Davante Adams is vital for their upcoming playoff run.
That adds to Rams QB Matthew Stafford’s arsenal; Adams will be back alongside WR Puka Nacua, who ranks second in the league with 1,715 receiving yards.
Los Angeles can also run the ball effectively, as it ranks seventh with 126.6 yards per game, giving it an edge over Buffalo’s run defense, which allows 136.2 rushing yards per game (28th).
The ability for the Rams to pressure the quarterback could also play a large part, with L.A. ranking fourth in pressure rate (26.3%;, and Allen’s 6 INTs under pressure are the third-most in the league.

Whole lot of Rams love before my predictions here; that's a surprise for a team that went 5-4 on the road and is a long-shot to play a single home game on the long, hard road to Super Bowl 60.
Meanwhile, the Bears have a significant home-field advantage – 6-2 during the regular season at Soldier Field — and a QB who has pulled off dramatic second-half comebacks in the cold weather, which will be a common thread through January.
As much as we really don't need to see Sam Darnold win a Super Bowl, the Seahawks and head coach Mike McDonald look like the healthiest, most well-rounded team heading into the NFL Playoffs.
On the AFC side, the Texans have a sleeper postseason build; the defense is the most explosive we've seen since the Legion of Boom, and the C.J. Stroud is starting to connect with his cast of pass-catchers.
If they can put two offensive TDs on the board, Patriots second-year QB Drake Maye may cough up the rest; he's ranked 30th in the NFL in turnover-worthy plays (17) and pressure-to-sack rate (20.6%). The Texans are the kind of opponent that will make him pay for those mistakes.
Texans vs. Seahawks is the kind of Super Bowl that's going to have to be carried by Bad Bunny's halftime performance. Whoever wins the field possession battle and makes a few big plays — especially where on the field they can create turnovers — will be the difference. I trust Darnold/Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks secondary to make those plays when it matters most.
