After the PGA Tour’s return to Doral last week for the Cadillac Championship, the schedule makers stacked another Signature Event this week at Quail Hollow, the host of last year’s PGA Championship. This is the final tune-up for the year’s second major.
With the Signature status, the field once again is stacked, with only world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and standout Russell Henley missing from the top 25 eligible players in the world rankings.
Another 72-golfer, no-cut event with a $20M purse will feature the return of back-to-back Masters champion Rory McIlroy. Matt Fitzpatrick, who won two weeks in a row before taking last week off, and Xander Schauffele, who has two runner-ups here, are also in the mix.
Let's break down our 2026 Truist Championship predictions and PGA picks this week, including picks for potential winners or top-10 finishers in the event.

Truist Championship Picks, Predictions, Winner Payouts for PGA Tour
The Truist Championship was held at the Philadelphia Cricket Club last year, while Quail Hollow hosted the PGA Championship, won by Scheffler. The event now returns to the Charlotte area at Quail Hollow, where McIlroy took his fourth Truist victory in 2025.
Similar to last week’s Cadillac Championship at Doral, the course challenges the overall tee-to-green game, as well as length. Besides McIlroy, previous winners at Quail Hollow include 2023 U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, Jason Day, Tiger Woods, and Rickie Fowler.
Here are the top 10 favorites to secure a victory at the 2026 Truist Championship at Quail Hollow, via PrizePicks Team Picks, including their payouts if you predict them to win the tournament.
- Rory McIlroy: 6.25x payout
- Cameron Young: 8.33x
- Xander Schauffele: 9.09x
- Matt Fitzpatrick: 11.11x
- Ludwig Aberg: 12.5x
- Si Woo Kim: 22.22x
- Adam Scott: 22.22x
- Tommy Fleetwood: 22.22x
- Sam Burns: 33.33x
As far as the actual Truist Championship purse is concerned, the winner earns $3.6M, with top-10 payouts descending and settling at $540K for 10th place.
2026 Truist Championship at Quail Hollow Picks, Predictions to Win
Here are four golfers to consider for your 2026 Truist Championship picks on PrizePicks Team Picks. Also listed are payouts for each golfer to win and finish in the top 10 or 20.
Rory McIlroy Truist Championship Prediction
Rory McIlroy Truist Championship Winner Payout: Yes 6.25x
Top 10 Payout: Yes 1.72x | No 2.04x
- The last time McIlroy played the Truist, it was at this course. He's previously won the event in 2010, 2015, 2021, and 2024.
- The last time we saw the six-time major winner, he was being fitted for his second consecutive green jacket, but he hasn't played since.
- This is McIlroy’s sixth start of the year. He has the Masters win, a second at Genesis, a 14th at Pebble Beach, and a 46th at the Players. He's also logged a withdrawal at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
- Quail Hollow is a bomber-type course with major feel and the need for a good tee-to-green game. Rory hasn't played enough rounds to qualify for the stats board, but his current metrics would have him leading the Tour tee-to-green and off-the-tee while also residing in the top 10 in driving distance.

Si Woo Kim Truist Championship at Prediction
Si Woo Kim Truist Championship Winner Payout: Yes 22.22x
Top 10 Payout: Yes 2.77x | No 1.29x
- With Quail Hollow having many of the same characteristics as Doral, Si Woo Kim fits the mold. He finished T-4 last week and led the field in strokes gained tee-to-green and around the green.
- Kim is also second on Tour tee-to-green, fourth in approach, and third in driving accuracy.
- He struggled putting (64th last week), which is no surprise considering he's 120th on Tour. Yet, even with the putter struggles, Kim has six top-10s on the season, including each of the last two Signature Events.
- Kim finished eighth at last year's PGA Championship and 16th at this course in 2024 when it last held the Truist.
Adam Scott Truist Championship Prediction
Adam Scott Truist Championship Winner Payout: Yes 22.22x
Top 20 Payout: Yes 2x
- Adam Scott’s irons have been among the best on Tour this year. He led the Cadillac Championship field in greens hit and shots gained on approach last week. If not for playing the wrong ball on Thursday, he may have put a scare into Cam Young.
- The 45-year-old leads the Tour in shots gained on approach, is sixth in tee-to-green, and 13th in shots gained overall. Scott is also 16th in driving distance.
- Putting has been his weakness this season (95th on Tour, 50th in the field), but he's gained strokes putting in each of his last four appearances at Quail Hollow.
- Scott has third (2006), fifth (2023), and eighth-place (2008) finishes at Quail Hollow. At last year's PGA Championship, he closed 19th with two rounds in the 60s.
Harris English Truist Championship Prediction
Harris English Truist Championship Winner Payout: Yes 33.33x
- If you just picked golfers based on their 2026 performance, you may not land on Harris English, who has a lone top-20 finish this season (fourth last month at RBC).
- With that said, he was runner-up at Quail Hollow at last year's PGA Championship, beating everyone in the field not named Scheffler, and also finished third three years ago at this event.
- English is 30th off the tee, 34th in driving accuracy, and 33rd in total driving.
- It's been the iron game letting English down, as he's 122nd on approach.
