Packers vs. Bears Prediction on Spread for Wild Card Round

The last time the Packers were favored on the road in a postseason game was in the 2010 NFC championship game, which just so happened to be at Chicago.

The Bears, with their best regular-season record since 2018, bring a top-10 offense into Wild Card Weekend and get to host. Green Bay has not fared well as a road favorite this year.

Packers QB Jordan Love will make his fourth career playoff start (1-2), while QB Caleb Williams makes his postseason debut for the Bears.

Green Bay Packers Preview vs. Bears

  • The Packers were 7-10 against the spread during the regular season. The seven covers were tied for the fifth-fewest in the league.
  • As a favorite, the Packers are 5-8 ATS and 1-5 ATS on the road, with the lone cover in Week 8 at Pittsburgh.
  • Green Bay is 16th in scoring (23.0 PPG), 15th in total offense and fifth in passing yards per play.
  • On the defensive side, the Packers are 11th in scoring at 21.5 PPG, 12th in total defense, and ninth in yards per play.

Chicago Bears Preview vs. Packers

  • The Bears are 10-7 ATS, their best record since 2018 (12-5).
  • It’s a complete turnaround for Chicago, who had the third-worst cover percentage (41.1%) from 2019-24.
  • Chicago is 5-4 ATS as an underdog. In its only game as a home 'dog, it won outright in Dallas in Week 3.
  • The Bears finished the regular season a scorching ninth in scoring offense at 25.9 PPG and sixth in total offense with 369.8 YPG.
  • Defensively, the Bears are 23rd in scoring (24.4 PPG) and 29th in total yards.
