Four teams will be on a bye during Week 6, including the Bengals, Lions, and Vikings. That means Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase, Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Vikings WR Justin Jefferson all won’t be on the field, removing some of the top names at the position for fantasy.

Below, let's highlight some NFL Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em candidates for the WR position, including picks to consider on PrizePicks for Matthew Golden, Denzel Boston, and more.

Start: Packers WR Matthew Golden

Game: Cowboys vs. Packers – Sunday, October 18, 8:20 p.m. ET

Matthew Golden PrizePicks Projections: 64.5 Rec Yards, 4.5 Recs (Goblin), 13.5 Fantasy Score

The Packers dismantled the Bears on Sunday, defeating their division rivals 31-7. They couldn’t run the ball again, though, rushing 26 times for just 70 yards. However, Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd did have 2 rushing TDs.

The reason Green Bay won the game was because of QB Jordan Love, who had 367 passing yards and 2 TDs. WR Christian Watson accounted for both of his scores, but Matthew Golden also played well.

He finished second behind Watson with 7 targets, posting 6 receptions for 123 yards. It was the second time over the last three games that he recorded at least 100 yards.

The Packers average the fewest rushing yards per game in the league (60.4), so expect them to potentially continue relying on their passing attack when they face the Cowboys. That could lead to a stellar stat line for Golden, considering the Cowboys are 32nd in dropback EPA/play allowed, per RBSDM.

Add Matthew Golden + Packers to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Start: Browns WR Denzel Boston

Game: Ravens vs. Browns – Sunday, October 18, 1 p.m. ET

Denzel Boston PrizePicks Projections: 54.5 Rec Yards, 3.5 Recs (Goblin), 23.5 Yards Longest Rec

The Browns lost to the Jets 17-12 in rainy weather Sunday. Neither team could get much going through the air because of the conditions. Browns QB Deshaun Watson completed only 15 of his 33 pass attempts for 155 yards and 1 TD.

The score went to Denzel Boston, who also posted 3 receptions for 46 yards. It marked the third time in five games that Boston found his way into the end zone.

Boston is tied with Browns WR KC Concepcion for the most targets on the team (29). Concepcion is in the league’s concussion protocol, but him being listed as a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice is promising for his chances of playing in Week 6.

Regardless of whether Concepcion plays, this is a favorable matchup for Boston because the Ravens allow the 10th-highest yards per target to WRs (8.9), per RotoWire. That makes him worth deploying in most fantasy formats.

Add Denzel Boston + Browns to cover the spread to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Sit: Steelers WR DK Metcalf

Game: Steelers vs. Buccaneers – Sunday, October 18, 1 p.m. ET

DK Metcalf PrizePicks Projections: 50.5 Rec Yards, 3.5 Recs (Goblin), 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)

The Steelers scored 34 points in their win over the Colts on Sunday with QB Aaron Rodgers posting 3 passing TDs. Steelers WR Michael Pittman Jr. (foot) didn’t play, and WR Roman Wilson left early with a finger injury.

DK Metcalf must have dominated, right? Amazingly, he finished with just 3 receptions for 12 yards on 4 targets.

Outside his Week 4 performance against the Browns in which he had 115 receiving yards, it's been a disappointing campaign for Metcalf. He has 4 or fewer receptions and 40 or fewer receiving yards in four of five games. It hasn’t helped his cause that he has 4 drops.

Week 6 brings a difficult matchup versus the Buccaneers, who rank 13th in dropback EPA/play allowed. Their 60.2% catch rate allowed to WRs ranks 12th.

Even with Pittman and Wilson sidelined, Metcalf might still provide a disappointing stat line.

Add DK Metcalf + Steelers to win to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Sit: Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin

Game: Steelers vs. Buccaneers – Sunday, October 18, 1 p.m. ET

Chris Godwin PrizePicks Projections: 28.5 Rec Yards, 2.5 Recs (Goblin), 0.5 Anytime TDs (Demon)

The Buccaneers pulled off a 24-16 upset win over the Cowboys last week. Still, QB Jalon Daniels only threw for 189 yards to go along with 1 TD. In two starts since QB Baker Mayfield (thumb) was injured, Daniels has a total of 337 passing yards, 2 TDs, and 2 INTs.

Mayfield is still working his way back, so Daniels is expected to start again in Week 6.

In two games with Daniels under center, Chris Godwin has combined for 9 receptions for 68 yards. Even with Mayfield healthy, the veteran WR didn't top 46 receiving yards in any of his first three games. A big reason for Godwin’s lack of production is that he doesn’t have big-play upside.

‍According to Pro Football Focus, his average depth of target is just 2.8 yards. That ranks 85th out of 86 qualified wideouts. There’s no reason to roster Godwin in fantasy right now, let alone consider starting him against Pittsburgh.

Add Chris Godwin + Buccaneers to cover the spread to your PrizePicks lineup now.

Golden has the potential to shine in a terrific matchup against the Cowboys, while Boston could also provide value against a Ravens team that has struggled to slow down WRs. As good as that duo can be, Metcalf and Godwin might be fighting uphill battles to be productive in their matchups.
