First up is the Colts vs. Ravens at 7 p.m. ET, with Anthony Richardson starting at QB and playing the majority of the first half, live on NFL Network.
Joe Burrow will start for the Bengals vs. Eagles backups at 7:30 p.m. ET, as the Super Bowl Champions will rest starters.
To end the night, the Seahawks — who will rest most starters tonight — will debut rookie QB Jalen Milroe, vs. the new look Raiders, led by QB Geno Smith and coach Pete Carroll in the duo’s return to Seattle at 10 p.m. ET on NFL Network, which also marks rookie RB Ashton Jeanty’s debut.
Colts vs. Ravens Picks Tonight

Colts QB Anthony Richardson – 70.5 Pass Yards

Richardson will play into the second quarter of NFL Preseason Week 1, with most of that action coming against the Ravens backups. He’ll also be fighting to win a starting job in a battle with Daniel Jones. In other word, every snap will count.
According to The Baltimore Banner, 20 healthy Ravens starters did not play a single snap in preseason last year, so we can expect them to sit out again here — or at least keep playing time to a minimum. That’s an advantage for a QB who has plenty of experience vs. starting NFL defenses.
Last year, in the Week 3 preseason game, Richardson went 8-of-14 for 86 yards and a touchdown
Richardson will also be equipped with new tight end Tyler Warren, who makes his NFL debut after being drafted in the first round.
How Much Will Colts Starters Play vs. Ravens?
The only official word here is that Richardson will play into the second quarter tonight. The rest of the starters are a question mark. That likely means we’ll see most starters play around a quarter, while QB Daniel Jones will follow with the second team.
Notably, Jonathan Taylor likely won’t play much as one of the longest tenured vets on this team, and backup RB Salvon Ahmed suffered an injury in practice. That should leave plenty of snaps for RB DJ Giddens, who is projected for 28.5 rushing yards on PrizePicks.
How Much Will Ravens Starters Play vs. Colts?
Head coach John Harbaugh said that starters won’t play in the preseason opener. The Ravens are expected to focus on giving young players more playing time in Week 1. Josh Johnson will start at QB.
Bengals vs. Eagles Picks Tonight

Bengals RB Tahj Brooks — 30.5 Rush Yards

Bengals sixth-round pick RB Tahj Brooks looks set to take a bulk of the carries out of the backfield tonight.
Chase Brown will play the first quarter, giving way to Samaje Perine, who is entering his ninth NFL season, and fourth with the Bengals. It’s clear to see they won’t need to see much from Perine.
Meanwhile, Brooks has already played with the first team in training camp and may be a contributor behind Brooks from the rip. Brooks has also been a contributor catching passes in camp, which could keep him on the field for more snaps tonight.
How Much Will Bengals Starters Play vs. Eagles?
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that starters will play at least one quarter, with some starters playing into the second quarter. Bengals starters like QB Joe Burrow, WR Ja’Marr Chase, and RB Chase Brown are all available on the PrizePicks NFL Preseason board.
How Much Will Eagles Starters Play vs. Bengals?
The Eagles did not play their starters last season, and after winning the Super Bowl last year, it’d be a bit of a shock to see them play in the preseason opener tonight. There is no official word, outside of this report which says that starters are “not expecting” to play.
The rookies will play for the Eagles tonight, including first round LB Jihaad Campbell.
Raiders vs. Seahawks Picks Tonight
Find the Raiders vs. Seahawks picks and analysis for tonight’s Preseason Week 1 game below, as Seahawks QB Jalen Milroe and Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty make their NFL debuts. Player projections come via the PrizePicks NFL Preseason board.
Seahawks WR Tory Horton – 29.5 Receiving Yards

Seahawks rookie WR Tory Horton has been making waves in training camp, making multiple plays per day against the first- and second-string defense. Although the Seahawks won’t play starters, Horton should still see the field for extended snaps as he gets up to speed on the offense.
If he’s going to contribute in the regular season, Horton should be a key cog for this offense through these three preseason games.
At Colorado State, Horton was a true alpha receiver before his 2024 season-ending injury in his senior season. He has the experience to make an immediate impact, with two 1,000+ yards receiving seasons in college.
How Much Will Raiders Starters Play vs. Seahawks?
Raiders are expected to play their starters tonight, though it’s unknown how much time they’ll get. With this up in the air, it’s hard to make DFS predictions for this team tonight, especially if starters may only play one or two drives, unless we lean more closer to lock.
The safest player to get playing time is kicker Daniel Carlson, who is projected for 1.5 FG made on PrizePicks NFL Preseason.
How Much Will Seahawks Starters Play vs. Raiders?
The Seahawks may play their starters for a drive, but they won’t get a significant amount of playing time. Expect the second-string to play into the second quarter — including Seahawks rookie QB Jalen Milroe, while the players fighting for roster spots finish up mop duty.
