Through 15 weeks, Rams QB Matthew Stafford has arguably been the top quarterback in the NFL. He leads all QBs in passing TDs and passer rating, has thrown the fewest interceptions amongst qualified full-year starters, and has the Rams sitting as the #1 seed in the NFC.

The veteran signal caller faces his toughest task tonight on Thursday Night Football, as the Rams travel north to Seattle to take on the divisional rival Seahawks at Lumen Field. You can catch the game on Amazon Prime Video at 8:20 p.m. ET.

Let’s take a look at the key Matthew Stafford stats and make some picks using PrizePicks projections for this Thursday Night Football matchup.

Matthew Stafford Stats, Pick for Thursday Night Football vs. Seahawks

The offseason arrival of star WR Davante Adams to a receiver room that already included breakout WR Puka Nacua meant that Stafford would have every opportunity to put up great numbers, and he has paid it off with 3,722 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, and only 5 interceptions.

The Rams may not have Adams for tonight’s game, as head coach Sean McVay noted earlier in the week that they would take his status up till game time if necessary. Adams is dealing with an aggravation of a previous hamstring injury that he suffered during last week’s win against the Detroit Lions.

Rams QB Matthew Stafford Projection vs. Seahawks: 1.5 Pass TDs

The Seahawks forced Stafford to his lowest passing yardage this season (130 yards) in L.A.'s 21-19 Week 11 win. However, there have only been two games where Stafford wasn’t able to get to multiple passing TDs, and the Rams will be looking to win this game through the air, since the Seahawks are a pass-funnel defense that has the seventh-highest Pass Rate over Expectation, per Draft Sharks PROE data.

Seattle has also struggled to defend against the TE position this season, and they’ve allowed the second-most receptions per game and the fourth-most yards per game to the position, per Lineups

If Adams is a no-go for this matchup, Stafford could heavily target Parkinson and Ferguson. Parkinson is coming off a 2-touchdown performance in last week’s game and has had at least 5 targets in each of his last three games.
