For their part, Warriors have won three of their last four games.

Let’s make break down our Knicks vs. Warriors prediction, spread, and total for January 15, 2026, as well as a pair of player projections on PrizePicks.

Knicks vs. Warriors Injury Report

Let’s have a look at the full Knicks vs. Warriors injury report for Thursday, via NBA.com and ESPN.

Warriors Injury Report

Knicks vs. Warriors Prediction on Spread

Much of this matchup will likely hinge on Knicks G Jalen Brunson’s availability. He leads the team with 28.2 points per game (PPG) and a 32.0% usage rate, per FantasyLabs.

Brunson left Wednesday’s matchup with an ankle injury, playing for only five minutes. New York is 1-2 when its star guard is absent, and it lost 112-101 as 11.5-point favorites against the Kings on Wednesday.

Golden State still loves the 3-ball, touting a 49.9% shot distribution (first), 15.9 made treys (first), and 44.2 shots from beyond the arc per game (first), per Dunks & Threes.

Perimeter defense is one of the Knicks’ weaknesses, as they surrender a 44.8% shot distribution (27th) and 14.5 made 3-pointers per contest (27th).

New York also leans on triples with a 43.8% shot distribution (eighth), but Brunson leads the team with 7.7 3-point attempts per game. Plus, the Warriors cede a 39.7% shot distribution (eighth).

If the Knicks’ leading scorer is out, Golden State could have enough advantages to dominate.

Knicks vs. Warriors NBA Picks, Stats for PrizePicks Today

Knicks C Karl-Anthony Towns could step up in Brunson’s potential absence, and Warriors G De’Anthony Melton’s recent hot streak could expose the Knicks’ weak perimeter defense. Which projections on PrizePicks stand out?

Knicks C Karl-Anthony Towns vs. Warriors Projection: 23.5 Points

  • According to FantasyLabs, Towns’ usage rate increases by +4.1% when Brunson is off the court.

  • He also logs 23.0 field goal attempts per game when the Knicks’ leading scorer is out, increasing from Towns’ season-long total of 14.5.
  • The Warriors’ defense is most vulnerable in the interior, allowing 51.0 points in the paint per game (16th). Towns takes 60.0% of his field goal attempts within 10 feet of the basket.

Warriors G De’Anthony Melton vs. Knicks Projection: 2.5 Made 3-Pointers

  • In his six January appearances, Melton averages 15.3 PPG, surpassing his season mark of 10.6.
  • He’s enjoyed increased usage this month by attempting 11.0 shots and 5.8 3-point attempts per game compared to 8.9 and 4.4 for the 2025-26 campaign.
  • Backed by a blistering 45.7% from 3-point land in January, Melton records 2.7 made treys per contest while reaching 3 made triples in four of six games this month.
  • With the Knicks allowing 39.0 3-point attempts per contest (25th), Golden State’s shooters should get plenty of looks tonight.
