It’s been two and a half months, but Bengals QB Joe Burrow finally makes his return to the gridiron in tonight’s Thanksgiving divisional matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
The elite signal caller never thought about sitting out for the season, even with the Bengals mostly out of the playoff race.
Let’s check out the key Joe Burrow stats and PrizePicks projections for tonight’s Thursday Night Football matchup against the Ravens, which you can watch on NBC and Peacock at 8:20 p.m. ET.

Joe Burrow Stats, Pick vs. Ravens for TNF
Prior to his toe injury, Burrow had only one full game under his belt, the season opener against the Cleveland Browns, where the Bengals struggled to a 17-16 win. Burrow went 14-of-23 for 113 passing yards and 1 touchdown pass.
His return will be a welcome sight for the Bengals. QB Joe Flacco — serving as the starter after Burrow’s backup, QB Jake Browning, was benched — wasn’t bad in his six starts, averaging 272 passing yards and tossing 13 touchdown passes to only 4 interceptions.
However, Burrow brings a second gear that Flacco simply doesn’t have at this point in his career. Against the Ravens, Burrow has averaged 300 passing yards and has 21 passing touchdowns to only 5 interceptions in his career.

Joe Burrow Projections
- 36.5 Pass Attempts
- 24 Pass Completions
- 255.5 Pass Yards
- 35.5 Longest Completion
- 4.5 Rush Yards
Joe Burrow Projections vs. Ravens: 255.5 Pass Yards
While the Bengals are happy to see Burrow come back, this is a matchup the Ravens have been waiting for. It’s the perfect test to see if their full-scale defensive turnaround is for real, or if it was a flash in the pan.
Since getting multiple members of their secondary back, the Ravens’ D has been on another level. Post-bye, opposing QBs have only averaged 226 passing yards per game.
The Bengals will not have WR Tee Higgins in this game (concussion), which is a big deal for Burrow in his first game back. Having a motivated WR in Ja’Marr Chase is great, but the loss of Higgins on the boundary is a big deal. And Burrow will need all the help he can get.
