Jaguars vs. Colts Prediction, Spread, Over/Under

Sunday marks a milestone meeting: the 50th clash between the Jaguars and Colts. With Indianapolis holding a 28-21 series advantage, including four wins in the last five, they currently boast bragging rights over their in-division rivals.

The Colts welcome back CB Sauce Gardner this weekend, but star DT DeForest Buckner’s season is over due to an aggravation of his neck injury. For Jacksonville, RB Bhayshul Tuten (finger) carries a questionable designation into Sunday.

Colts QB Philip Rivers vs. Jaguars Projection: 211.5 Pass Yards

  • In two games since coming out of retirement, Rivers has racked up 397 passing yards with 3 TDs and 2 INTs.
  • A staggering 95.5% of Rivers’ snaps have been taken from shotgun in two games, the highest rate since he made his 2025 debut.
  • According to NFL Pro, 25 of Rivers’ 62 pass attempts have gone over the middle third of the field. Jacksonville surrenders the lowest yards per attempt (5.8) and explosive pass rate (11.3%) on such tries.
  • The Jaguars yield the fourth-lowest EPA per pass average at -0.10, per SumerSports

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor vs. Jaguars Projection: 96.5 Rush + Rec Yards

  • Taylor averages an impressive 122.7 scrimmage yards per game on the year. In two contests with Rivers, however, that number is down to 90.
  • Among 48 RBs with 100+ carries, Taylor’s percentage of runs stopped for a loss (7.99) ranks 30th. His target share is 16th in the same group.
  • During the Colts’ five-game losing streak, Taylor averaged 3.7 yards against stacked boxes, via NFL Pro. The Jaguars loaded the box 48.4% of the time when these teams met in Week 14.
  • Jacksonville has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to the RB position in 2025. That includes the lowest rushing total by far (1,020 — the Patriots are second at 1,121).
