Seventh-ranked Indiana travels to Eugene to face the third-ranked Oregon Ducks in a top-10 battle with national title and Big Ten title implications. This is the first conference meeting between two teams who have sparred just three previous times. The undefeated schools meet Saturday at 3:30 ET on CBS.

The rumble will feature two of the best QBs in the nation in Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza and Oregon’s Dante Moore, who are among the top five contenders on many Heisman lists. Mendoza is second in the nation in passer rating, while Moore enters sixth. These two QBs have met before in a Pac-12 battle between Cal and UCLA.

With only four teams with a perfect 2-0 record in the Big Ten, the winner will have a leg up in the race for the two Big Ten championship game spots.

We'll give you our Indiana vs. Oregon prediction and CFB picks for PrizePicks, including Mendoza and Moore player picks for PrizePicks real money college football game.

Indiana vs. Oregon Prediction, CFB Picks

Indiana and Oregon meet for the first as conference opponents and only the second time in the last 60 seasons. Oregon has won two of those three, with Indiana taking the last one in 2004 in Eugene.

Both teams are 5-0 to start the season for the second consecutive year. Combined, the two teams have lost one regular season game over the last two seasons. Both teams advanced to the College Football Playoff last season, falling in their first game.

After tough wins in Week 5 (Oregon over Penn State and Indiana over Iowa), both teams were on a bye in Week 6.

Indiana Hoosiers Preview

The Indiana Hoosiers, who advanced to the College Football Playoff last season, are 5-0 for the second consecutive season, with wins over ninth-ranked Illinois and Iowa in their last two games. Prior to 2024, the Hoosiers had not started a season 5-0 since 1967.

Indiana enters Week 7 with the fifth-best offense in the country, gaining 538.2 yards per game. The Hoosiers are averaging 47.2 points per game through their first five games, fourth-best in the nation. The damage has been done on the ground, where Indiana is averaging 267.8 rush yards a game, fifth-best in the country.

It’s not just offense for the Hoosiers, who also rank third in scoring defense (9.6 PPG) and fifth in total defense (221.4 yards per game allowed). Indiana is the only team in the country in the top five in scoring offense and defense.

Oregon Ducks Preview

The Oregon Ducks, who won the Big Ten title and earned first round bye in last year’s CFP, are 5-0 for the second straight year and for the third time in the last four seasons. Oregon has won 18 consecutive non-bowl games, last losing a non-bowl game in the 2023 Pac-12 title game to Washington. The Ducks have yet to lose a Big Ten game since joining the conference prior to the 2024 season. Oregon went 9-0 and then won the Big Ten title game last season and are 2-0 this season in conference play.

The Ducks enter Week 7 with the sixth-best scoring offense in the country, scoring 46.6 points per game and ninth in total yards at 503.8 yards per game. The defense is seventh in yards allowed (238.2) and sixth in scoring defense at 12.2 points per game. Four out the five games have been won by 20+ points with the win over Penn State goning to OT.
