Eagles vs. Giants Prediction, Thursday Night Football Picks

  • One of the most storied rivalries in the NFL, Thursday marks the 186th meeting between these two clubs. The Eagles lead the series 95-88-2.
  • The last decade has been anything but kind to the Giants. Of the previous 21 games featuring both sides since the 2015 campaign, including playoffs, Philadelphia is 17-4.
  • Dating back to 2020, the G-Men have the NFL’s third-worst win percentage (28.1) against divisional opponents. Philly has the fifth-highest (63.6).

Philadelphia Eagles Preview

  • The reigning Super Bowl champions are off to a hot start, boasting a 4-1 record that’s tied for the NFL’s best.
  • Philadelphia is perfect in the conference (3-0).
  • Despite ranking 30th in yards on offense, the Eagles are 12th in scoring.
  • Week 5 saw the Eagles show a chink in their armor. A 21-17 loss to the Broncos featured Denver outscoring the hosts 18-0 in the final frame.

New York Giants Preview

  • The Giants’ 1-4 record is their worst through five weeks since… 2023. They found themselves 2-8 at one point in that season — their current pace for 2025.
  • New York’s 10-29 record since 2023 is tied with the Titans for the second-worst in football. Only the Panthers are below them at 9-30.
  • Switching from Russell Wilson to rookie Jaxson Dart in Week 4 helped head coach Brian Daboll snag his first victory since Week 17 of last year.
  • It didn’t take long for Dart’s “welcome to the NFL” moment to arrive. After New York went up 14-3 on the Saints in Week 5, New Orleans rattled off 23 unanswered points to win.

Eagles vs. Giants Same Game Picks for NFL DFS & PrizePicks

Here are three Eagles vs. Giants Week 6 picks for Thursday Night Football. Some top same-game PrizePicks projections to consider include Philly QB Jalen Hurts and RB Saquon Barkley, as well as New York QB Jaxson Dart.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Projection: 196.5 Pass Yards

  • Five weeks in, Hurts’ average of 177.8 passing yards per game is the lowest mark since his rookie year.
  • Hurts opened up the deep ball last week. Per NFL Pro, his 9 such throws in Week 5 were his second-most in a game. Could disgruntled WR A.J. Brown be in for more rewarding output as a result?
  • Week 5’s 280 yards were Hurts’ highest since Week 15 of 2024.
  • New York’s defense is tried and not-so-true against the pass. Just three teams have been thrown on more, and they’re 24th in yards.
  • According to Pro Football Focus, Hurts has a sparkling 105.3 passer rating when kept clean. The Giants are 14th in pressure rate

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley Projection: 15.5 Receiving Yards

  • Barkley has been held back in practice due to a knee injury, but he cites it as “general soreness.” 2024’s Offensive Player of the Year says he’s “excited to go play.”
  • The three-time Pro Bowler’s 25.6 receiving yards per game is his highest average since a two-game, injury-shortened 2020 campaign (30.0).
  • Barkley averages 29.7 receiving yards per game against the NFC East and 40.0 on Thursdays. In his lone contest against the Giants in 2024, he had 11.
  • This year’s Giants defense is middle-of-the-pack against RBs — 16th in receptions and T-16th in receiving yards allowed.

Giants QB Jaxson Dart Projection: 217.5 Pass+Rush Yards

  • After posting 155 scrimmage yards in his starting debut, Dart’s total spiked to 257 in Week 5.
  • Per Big Blue Film Room, Dart is one of four QBs in the Super Bowl era to run for 50-plus yards in each of his first two starts.
  • Philadelphia ranks 13th in rushing yards yielded to QBs on just 13 attempts faced. All but one team above them has allowed 20-plus tries.
  • Dart is already tenth among QBs in total rush EPA (5.96) despite only having 85 plays under his belt, per SumerSports
