How to Watch College Football Games Today – Saturday, October 17
College football games today run from 12:00 p.m. ET to an 11:00 p.m. ET kickoff that will end early Sunday morning. The 20 games above are spread across 10 TV networks: FOX, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, CBS, NBC, FS1, SECN, Peacock, and the CW.
Beyond the six games below, there's plenty more ranked-vs.-ranked action: #16 Mississippi State vs. #22 LSU (noon, ESPN), #13 Missouri vs. #9 Ole Miss (3:30 p.m., SECN), and #18 Oklahoma State vs. #20 Houston (7:30 p.m., FOX). Here's how to watch the biggest NCAAF games today and what's at stake.
#4 Ohio St. vs. #5 Indiana – 12:00 p.m. ET
How to watch: FOX, 12:00 p.m. ET from Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind.
Spread: OSU -2.5
Indiana (6-0) is the defending national champion and hasn't lost since the 2024 College Football Playoff. The Hoosiers beat Ohio State 13-10 in last December's Big Ten title game. Ohio State (5-1, 3-0 Big Ten) has only lost once this season, 24-23 at Texas.
Indiana sacked Julian Sayin five times in that title game. Josh Hoover has replaced Fernando Mendoza at QB for the Hoosiers and has 17 touchdown passes this year. Whoever wins is in the driver's seat for a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Florida vs. #7 Texas – 12:00 p.m. ET
How to watch: ABC, 12:00 p.m. ET from DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin
Spread: TEX -11.5
Texas (4-1) lost 27-24 to Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry last week. Florida (4-2) has lost two straight SEC games, to Missouri and South Carolina, after starting 4-0.
Florida won last year's meeting 29-21 and is scoring over 40 points per game this season. Texas' defense is allowing 16 points per game, and the Longhorns are 11.5-point favorites at home.

#6 Alabama vs. #14 Tennessee – 3:30 p.m. ET
How to watch: ABC, 3:30 p.m. ET from Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn.
Spread: BAMA -7.5
This is the 109th Third Saturday in October, and both teams are 5-1. Alabama lost 20-17 to Georgia last week; Tennessee beat Arkansas 24-17 on the road. Both teams will wear their home jerseys at Neyland for the first time since 1970.
Tennessee has won its last two home games against Alabama (2022 and 2024). Keelon Russell vs. George MacIntyre is the quarterback matchup, and the winner is in good shape for the College Football Playoff.
Florida St. vs. #3 Miami – 7:00 p.m. ET
How to watch: ESPN, 7:00 p.m. ET from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.
Spread: MIA -20.5
Miami (5-0) leads FBS in scoring offense (49.6 points per game) and scoring defense (9.8 points allowed), and is coming off a bye.
Florida State (3-3) has lost three of its last four, including 44-20 at Louisville last week, and head coach Mike Norvell is squarely on the hot seat. Miami is a 20.5-point favorite vs. their in-state ACC opponent, and Florida State pays 9.09x to win on PrizePicks.
#2 Notre Dame vs. #8 BYU – 7:30 p.m. ET
How to watch: ABC, 7:30 p.m. ET from LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah
Spread: ND -10.5
College GameDay is in Provo for the first time since 2009 for a matchup of unbeatens. Notre Dame (6-0) leads FBS in total defense and hasn't played at BYU since losing 20-17 there in 2004.
BYU (5-0) is without star running back LJ Martin, so more falls on QB Bear Bachmeier. A win would be the biggest résumé win of BYU's season as it chases its first-ever Playoff berth. Notre Dame still has Miami on the schedule in November.
Nebraska vs. Oregon – 11:00 p.m. ET
How to watch: FOX, 11:00 p.m. ET from Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore.
Spread: ORE -6.5
Nebraska (5-1) led Indiana 17-6 in the fourth quarter last week before losing 20-17. Oregon (3-2) is unranked after a 17-15 home loss to UCLA.
The big question is Oregon's quarterback. Dante Moore's status is uncertain, and former Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola, who transferred to Oregon this offseason, could play against his old team. Oregon is a 6.5-point favorite.
