Arizona State vs. Iowa State Prediction, Spread, Over/Under

Arizona State has had a solid but unspectacular season overall, sitting at 17-15 overall and 7-11 in conference play. Head coach Bobby Hurley reportedly isn't expected to return next year, raising questions about the team's motivation going forward.

Those questions were put to rest after an impressive first-round win over Baylor, 83-79. The final score makes the game seem a lot closer than it was, as the Sun Devils essentially led by double digits for the majority of the action.

That win plays into the trend of Arizona State playing good teams tough down the home stretch, especially with wins against #10 Texas Tech and #14 Kansas in two of their last seven games.

Iowa State has had a great year, sitting 25-6 overall and 12-6 in Big 12 play. They've shown some chinks in their armor recently, however, losing as favorites vs. BYU and Texas Tech before getting run out of the gym against Arizona. If the Cyclones want to make a deep run in the Big 12 and NCAA Tournaments, they may need more hot shooting from junior F Milan Momcilovic.

Momcilovic has emerged as one of the best shooting big men in college basketball. He's leading the team with 17 points per game while shooting 51.4% from the field, 89.7% from the free throw line, and an absurd 50% from 3-point range on an equally ridiculous 7.4 attempts per game.

“Yes” on the Cyclones to win the Big 12 Tournament is currently returning a 6.66x payout on PrizePicks Team Picks.
