Refunds and Cancellations

Last updated: Jul 01, 2025

Can I edit or cancel a lineup after it is submitted?

Lineups may not be edited after they are submitted, but you may have the option to cancel within 5 minutes of submitting.

To see if cancellation is available, click the three dots on the top right of your open lineups tab and look for the option that says "Cancel Lineup". If that option does not appear, that means cancellation is not available for your lineup.

In certain specific instances, members may have access to cancellation periods that extend beyond the standard 5-minutes (see below for more details).

It's been less than 5 minutes, why can't I cancel?

PrizePicks reserves the right to enable or disable lineup cancellation at their own discretion.

The option may be disabled for a number of reasons, including but not limited to: specific combinations of sports or players in a lineup, Member account status, or past refund history.

Which lineups CAN’T be canceled within 5 minutes?

The following lineups may not be canceled even within the standard 5-minute grace period OR any extended cancellation period: ‍

  • In-Game lineups that include second half (2H) or fourth quarter (4Q) projections
  • Lineups where at least one game involving your picks has already started

Lineups that meet the description above are considered final as soon as they are submitted, and are not eligible for a refund.

Can you ever cancel a lineup after the 5-minute cancellation period?

If a pick in your lineup is marked as a Did Not Play (DNP), and if no other picks in your lineup have started their respective games, then you may cancel your lineup even after the 5-minute cancellation period has expired.

My lineup was canceled but not by me. What happened?

If you did not cancel your lineup yourself, it may have been canceled by PrizePicks for any of the following reasons:

Ineligible due to DNPs: If DNPs or Reboots cause your lineup to only have one pick remaining OR cause your lineup to have only players from the same team, your lineup will be canceled and refunded.

Board Error: On rare occasions, a projection may be mistakenly left on the board after the game has started. This is classified as a board error, and will cause your lineup to become ineligible. Lineups that include this type of board error will be canceled and the entry fee will be refunded. For partial-game projections, such as 2nd Half (2H) or 4th Quarter (4Q), this rule applies if the projection remains on the board past the intended start time.

In addition to the reasons above, PrizePicks has the right to cancel any active lineup at any time at their sole discretion.
