Account Settings

Keep your account information up to date and personalize your PrizePicks experience by adjusting your settings.

To access these settings, go to the menu found in the top left corner of the mobile app and open the Settings tab. If you’re using a web browser, the menu is located in the top right corner instead.

Display Name

Your display name is what others see during social interactions and on public leaderboards.

To edit:

  1. Select the Display Name field
  2. Enter your desired display name
  3. Tap Save Settings

⚠️ Display names cannot include profanity, offensive language, hate speech, or any other element deemed inappropriate, at the sole discretion of PrizePicks.

Full Legal Name

Your legal name must match the one on your government-issued ID. It’s used for identity verification and processing withdrawals.

For security reasons, you will not be able to change your name once you have connected it to your PrizePicks account, and it will not appear as an editable field on your Settings page. If you have to change the name on your account, you will need to go through a reverification process.

To edit:

  1. Submit a request by contacting our Live Support team
  2. Include a valid reason and documentation (e.g., legal name change)
  3. Wait for official confirmation that your name has been formally updated on your PrizePicks account

⚠️ Please make sure any other information connected to your PrizePicks account (for example bank account or PayPal account) is updated to reflect your name change. Failure to do so may cause your deposit or withdrawal attempts to be flagged for fraud.

Physical Address

We collect your address to comply with local regulations and determine eligibility for certain promotions.

To edit:

  1. Select the Address field
  2. Input your current residential address
  3. Tap Save Settings

⚠️ Changing your address may affect your eligibility to enter contests in certain states.

Phone Number

Used for two-factor authentication and important account alerts.

To edit:

  1. Select the Phone Number field
  2. Enter the phone number you want connected to your account
  3. Tap Save Settings

Email Address

Your email is tied to your login, communication preferences, and account recovery. If you're having trouble receiving emails from PrizePicks, please try the following steps before reaching out to Live Support:

  1. Check your inbox storage. If your email inbox is full, new messages won't be delivered. Delete some emails to free up space and try again.
  2. Check your spam or junk folder. Emails from PrizePicks, including OTP codes, can sometimes be filtered there.
  3. Regain access to your email. If you no longer have access to the email address on file, contact your email provider directly for assistance recovering your account.

If you've tried all of the above and are still experiencing issues, open a Live Support chat and a representative will be happy to help. Please note that to change your email address, you will be required to complete a manual verification in the chat before any changes can be made.

Additionally, if your account is associated with a school or work email address, our Live Support team can help you switch over to a verified personal email instead.

If you'd like to use a different email address before confirming and connecting it to your PrizePicks account, you can update it directly in the app:

  1. Tap the in-app menu, navigate to Settings, and select the Email field.
  2. Enter the new email address you'd like to use and tap Save Settings.
  3. An OTP code will be sent to the email address currently on file. Enter the code in the field provided and tap Confirm. All future correspondence will be sent to the new address.

Default Entry Fee (Player Picks Only)

Set a default entry fee that will automatically populate when you create a Player Picks lineup. PrizePicks typically sets this amount to $20 for all new accounts, but you can adjust based on how much money you feel comfortable playing with, down to a minimum of $1.

To edit:

  1. Select the Default Entry Fee field
  2. Input your preferred amount
  3. Tap Save Settings

Default Lineup Type (Player Picks Only)

Automatically pre-select your preferred Player Picks lineup format as either Flex Play or Power Play. PrizePicks typically sets this preference to Power Play for all new accounts, but you can adjust at any time.

To edit:

  1. Select the Default Lineup Type field
  2. Choose Flex or Power
  3. Tap Save Settings

Account Settings FAQ

Why can’t I use my account?

Check to make sure you are in a location where PrizePicks operates, then ensure that your location services in your phone settings are turned on. Once you’ve completed both steps listed above please fully close and reopen your app.

If you are still having issues, your account may have been deactivated due to a violation of the PrizePicks Code of Conduct.
