Thunder vs. Spurs Prediction, Spread, Over/Under for Game 3 – Friday, May 22

The Spurs began the Western Conference Finals with a statement overtime win in Game 1, punctuated by a 41-point performance from Wembanyama. San Antonio had squandered a 10-point fourth-quarter lead but ultimately outscored Oklahoma City 21-14 in the extra sessions.

In Game 2, the Thunder were able to flip the script and even the series with a 122-113 win. Reigning NBA MVP PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 30 points, which was certainly needed after SF Jalen Williams reinjured his left hamstring in the first half.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Williams will be evaluated on a day-to-day and game-by-game basis going forward. Williams did travel with the team to San Antonio and is currently listed as questionable, according to the NBA’s official injury report.

Prior to the Western Conference Finals, Williams had missed six consecutive playoff games due to a Grade 1 left hamstring strain.

Meanwhile, the Spurs’ backcourt has also been affected by the injury bug in the early portion of the series. PG De’Aaron Fox has missed the opening two games of the series due to an ankle injury.

In addition, G Dylan Harper is dealing with right adductor soreness after leaving Game 2 in the third quarter. Harper had moved into the starting lineup to begin this series when Fox was out.
