The 1-4 Ravens are in a tough spot in the playoff race — and things aren’t getting easier. With QB Lamar Jackson set to miss another game due to a hamstring injury, Baltimore will again turn to Cooper Rush under-center as they face the Rams in Week 6.
Lamar Jackson was officially ruled out for Week 6 on Friday. The Ravens will also be without key pieces on defense vs. a solid Rams team, including LB Roquan Smith and CB Chdobe Awuzie.

Let's get into what the Jackson injury update means for the Ravens vs. Rams matchup this week.
Is Lamar Jackson Playing This Week vs. Rams?
We'll have to wait another week to see Lamar Jackson take the field again, due to his hamstring injury suffered vs. the Chiefs in Week 4.
Jackson missed practice all week and is listed as out for Sunday’s game against Los Angeles.
That leaves Cooper Rush in line to start at QB again this week.
How Long is Lamar Jackson Out For?
The injury doesn’t appear too serious, but Lamar Jackson is set to miss his second straight game.
Thankfully the Ravens have a Week 7 bye. which could put him on track to return in Week 8. Head coach John Harbaugh isn't taking any chances with their franchise QB giving him extra time to rest and recover.

Ravens QB Cooper Rush Projection: 32.5 Yards Longest Completion
Last week, Cooper Rush and the Ravens were embarrassed by C.J. Stroud and the Texans, as Rush threw for just 179 yards and 3 INTs.
In his lone appearance this season, Rush connected on a 56-yard completion to Zay Flowers — showing he can push the ball downfield.
He also has DeAndre Hopkins in his arsenal, whose longest catch this season is a 41-yarder against the Browns’ tough defense.
Rush faces another uphill battle this Sunday against the Rams, but taking deep shots will be key to loosening up the defense and creating space for a struggling Derrick Henry in the run game.
Even with 3 INTs last week, Rush was only credited with 1 turnover-worthy play, via PFF, so the numbers say we could get some level of bounce-back in Week 6.
Rush's adjusted completion percentage in his Week 5 start was 78.9% — a very solid number that should allow plenty of opportunity to hit this longest completion number, especially if the Ravens are trailing.
