Giannis Antetokounmpo Warriors Trade Rumors: Mock Trade Scenario

Following the season-ending injury of F Jimmy Butler, the Warriors are at the center of NBA trade rumors. They are eighth in the Western Conference standings with a 27-22 record, holding a 1.56x payout to qualify for the playoffs, per PrizePicks Team Picks.

Butler will be a free agent following the 2026-27 season, and Warriors F Jonathan Kuminga demanded a trade. Antetokounmpo would be a long-term answer in the frontcourt, and Golden State could use help with its attack averaging only 43.8 points in the paint per game (29th), via NBA Advanced Stats

Brian Windhorst of ESPN suggested the Warriors could have a “strong offer” for Giannis, but Anthony Slater of ESPN reported Golden State would like to keep Butler in the fold. How might a trade package look without the veteran forward in the mix?

Bucks Receive

  • G Brandin Podziemski
  • F Jonathan Kuminga
  • 2026 First-round Pick
  • 2027 First-round Pick
  • 2028 First-round Pick
  • 2030 First-round Pick
  • 2031 First-round Pick

Warriors Receive

  • F Giannis Antetokounmpo

A two-time MVP is up for grabs, meaning the Bucks may be bound to land a wealth of draft picks.

Kuminga is already generating trade buzz, and he would bring solid production in the Milwaukee frontcourt after posting 16.1 and 15.3 points per game in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.

Third-year Warriors G Brandin Podziemski logged 11.7 PPG in the 2024-25 campaign and has increased that to 12.2 PPG this season. His elite 38.7% 3-point clip would further boost the Bucks’ 39.3% mark from deep (second).

Giannis Antetokounmpo Heat Trade Rumors: Mock Trade Scenario

It’s felt like the Heat have been the center of trade rumors for years. From Houston Rockets F Kevin Durant and Blazers G Damian Lillard to Memphis Grizzlies G Ja Morant, Miami is constantly keeping tabs on the trade market.

Marc Stein tabbed the Heat as one of the favorites to land Antetokounmpo’s services. Adding to the rumors, Giannis’ mother posted a throwback picture of the NBA superstar in Miami.

Similar to the Warriors, Miami is a borderline playoff team with a 25-23 record, sitting eighth in the Eastern Conference standings. PrizePicks Team Picks gives the Heat a 1.19x payout to earn a playoff berth.

Miami is 18th in offensive rating; the Greek Freak’s 28.0 PPG would be an excellent addition. According to Dunks & Threes, the Heat have the seventh-highest shot distribution around the rim, paired with 54.2 points in the paint per game (third). Antetokounmpo would further strengthen that, as he takes 76.2% of his shots from within 10 feet of the basket.

Charania reported Milwaukee could pursue blue-chip young talent and/or draft picks. Miami has the pieces to fulfill both wants in our mock trade.

Bucks Receive

  • G Tyler Herro
  • C Kel’el Ware
  • 2026 First-round Pick
  • 2028 First-round Pick
  • 2029 First-round Pick

Heat Receive

  • F Giannis Antetokounmpo

Heat G Tyler Herro could be Miami’s building block to land Giannis, as the one-time All-Star averaged 23.9 PPG last season and currently sits at 21.9 PPG. He’s on pace to record at least 20.0 PPG in five consecutive seasons, giving the Bucks franchise a potential centerpiece.

As a former top-15 draft pick, second-year Heat C Kel’el Ware would check the “young player" box. He finished sixth in 2024-25 Rookie of the Year voting, backed by 9.3 PPG and 7.4 rebounds per game. The former Indiana Hoosier has improved those averages to 11.5 PPG and 9.6 RPG in his sophomore campaign.

Once again, the Bucks could receive multiple first-round draft picks in most trade scenarios.
