Devin Neal, Jacoby Brissett Lead Best Week 13 Waiver Wire Pickups for Fantasy

Football pauses for no one, whether in fantasy land or the actual NFL. With Week 12 of the 2025 campaign in the books, injuries and playing time changes impact both the on-field product and managers who have the playoffs in mind.

Several injury situations are worth monitoring this week, particularly at the RB position, with Alvin Kamara (Saints) and Josh Jacobs (Packers) banged up. As the war of attrition sets in, balancing lineups is critical.

With that in mind, league owners do have plenty of options on the Week 13 fantasy football waiver wire. Use PrizePicks NFL to make picks on player projections and more.

Week 13 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups by Position

Here are some Week 13 fantasy football waiver wire targets at QB, RB, WR, and TE.

(Fantasy rankings and 2025 point totals are courtesy of FantasyPros.)

Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett (@ Buccaneers)

Expecting anyone else? Since taking over as the Cardinals’ starter, Jacoby Brissett has racked up 1,887 passing yards with 11 TDs to just 3 INTs in 262 attempts.

The 32-year-old is fantasy QB5 from Weeks 6-12, including a QB4 finish in Week 11 when he threw for a whopping 452 yards. He’s gone over the 300-yard mark in half of his 2025 starts.

This week, Brissett and Arizona take on a Buccaneers defense that’s yielded more fantasy points to QBs than all but four teams. Until he enters a cold spell — and if that happens — Brissett remains an intriguing waiver option.

Other Week 13 QB Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (@ Titans): After a trio of middling performances in Weeks 9-11, Lawrence tossed 3 INTs in Sunday’s 27-24 OT loss to the Cardinals but matched with 3 TDs. Once everything came out in the wash, he ranked as QB7 for Week 12. Keep an eye on him as he faces the Titans, who’ve surrendered the 14th-most fantasy points to QBs (190.72).
  • Titans QB Cam Ward (vs. Jaguars): Despite coming up short against the Seahawks (30-24), Ward may have turned in the best showing of his young career. The No. 1 overall draft pick threw for 256 yards and a TD in a tidy outing, adding 37 rushing yards and another score to slot in as QB4. There could be more ebbs and flows, but Ward might be settling in just a bit.

Saints RB Devin Neal (@ Dolphins)

Starting Saints RB Alvin Kamara came into Week 12 nursing an ankle injury, then he sustained a knee ailment in Sunday’s 24-10 loss to the Falcons. With Kendre Miller on IR, Devin Neal becomes a potential value add late in the fantasy season.

Neal, New Orleans’ sixth-round pick, played a career-high 59 snaps. That was good for 74% of those available, signaling a possible featured role if Kamara misses time. He also reached new personal bests for rush attempts (7), targets (7), and receptions (5).

On Sunday afternoon, the Saints face a Dolphins defense that’s allowed the fourth-most rushing yards (1,246) and sixth-most receiving yards (419) to RBs.

Other Week 13 RB Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Packers RB Emanuel Wilson (@ Lions): Given the Packers’ short week, it remains to be seen whether Josh Jacobs will play on Thanksgiving Day against the Lions. If not, Wilson could be in for another hefty workload. In his Week 12 start, the 26-year-old got 30 touches in just 37 snaps. Detroit projects as a more significant test, however, given its No. 3 ranking in fewest fantasy points afforded to RBs (140.6).
  • Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (vs. Broncos): As the Jacory Croskey-Merritt hype train rolls on, don’t forget about Rodriguez. The third-year man had 16 touches in Week 11 prior to the Commanders’ bye and received a season-high 30 snaps. Denver’s run defense does rank sixth in lowest EPA/play, but it’s worth keeping an eye on Rodriguez potentially becoming RB1 in D.C.

Broncos WR Troy Franklin (@ Commanders)

Year two with the Broncos continues to be a breakout one for Troy Franklin. The 2024 fourth-rounder already hit career-highs in targets (81), receptions (46), receiving yards (509), and TDs (5) before the bye.

Now refreshed and recharged for the home stretch, Franklin may be set up nicely for more success. Fantasy WR5 from Weeks 7-11 gets to line up against a Commanders defense that’s allowed more WR fantasy points (273.9) than all but the Giants (287.1) and Cowboys (299.3).

Franklin ranks 28th among all WRs in target share at 22.07%, per SumerSports. He may not be a traditional lead receiving option — Courtland Sutton still exists — but he’s becoming too effective to ignore.

Other Week 13 WR Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Packers WR Christian Watson (@ Lions): A potential Jayden Reed return is looming, but don’t let that take away from Watson’s production. The 2022 second-round pick has logged 4+ targets in each of his five games back, and he’s had 5 and 7 in his last two outings. Watson, WR17 in fantasy in Weeks 8-12, matches up against the Lions’ seventh-ranked fantasy defense for highest WR fantasy output (261.82 points).
  • Jets WR John Metchie III (vs. Falcons): Metchie experienced a solid Week 11, converting on all 3 of his targets for 45 yards and a TD. He may be a surprise pick here, but 6 grabs on 7 targets for 65 yards and another score in Week 12 is impressive. With Garrett Wilson still on IR, Metchie may be a budding favorite pass catcher for QB Tyrod Taylor.

Jaguars TE Brenton Strange (@ Titans)

Brenton Strange’s first game back after an extended absence couldn’t have gone too much better. Playing a healthy 44 snaps against the Cardinals, he hauled in 5 passes on 5 targets for 93 yards.

Is it wise to jump back on the Strange train after a TE4 finish? Considering he was TE15 in Weeks 3-4, there may be some intrigue regarding his baseline.

Of 55 TEs with 100+ routes run in 2025, Strange’s 86.21% catch rate ranks third. He’s sixth in yards per route run at 1.93. To the Titans’ credit, they have allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points to TEs (68.10).

Other Week 13 TE Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Bears TE Colston Loveland (@ Eagles): Loveland is quickly becoming a card-carrying member of this weekly club. In Week 12, the first-round rookie found the end zone for the first time since his Week 9 explosion. Finishing as TE2 on the week with just 5 targets overall, he’s worth consideration if available in your league.
  • Rams TE Colby Parkinson (@ Panthers): Other TEs like Theo Johnson (Giants) or Harold Fannin Jr. (Browns) deserve shouts here, but Parkinson is very quietly rising up the ranks. He has a TD in three straight games, ranking as TE3 in that span despite being 14th among TEs in yards. His inclusion is end zone-dependent, making him a more daring addition against a Panthers defense that allows the eighth-most TE fantasy points (104.3).
