Clippers vs. Warriors Prediction, Preview for 10/28/25
The Clippers were routed in their season opener at Utah, 129-108, while allowing 43 first quarter points. Head coach Tyronn Lue has bounced back with consecutive home victories over Portland and Phoenix.
After allowing 55% shooting from the floor to the Jazz, the Clippers limited the Blazers and Suns to each convert less than 41% of their attempts from the field.
The Warriors play their second division opponent tonight, as they took care of the Lakers in the opener, 119-109. Golden State outlasted Denver in overtime, 137-131, but struggled with no rest in a 139-119 setback at Portland the following night.
In last night’s 15-point victory over the Grizzlies, four players scored at least 20 points for the Warriors, led by F Jonathan Kuminga’s 25 points.
Veteran G Bradley Beal is sidelined tonight for the Clippers with lower back soreness. Beal is averaging 5.5 points per game through his first two games after signing with Los Angeles in the offseason.
Fellow ex-Florida Gator Al Horford will return this evening for Golden State after he sat out the Memphis win for load management reasons. Horford scored 13 points in last Thursday’s overtime victory over Denver.
