Cam Ward 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook & Projections for NFLSZN

Titans QB Cam Ward was the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Find Ward’s fantasy football outlook and season-long stat projections for NFLSZN on PrizePicks.

The Titans made the obvious No. 1 pick on Thursday night in the NFL Draft, drafting QB Cam Ward out of Miami. Adding the best quarterback in what seems to be a lackluster draft for the position, the Titans look to turn the franchise around in an AFC South that’s up for grabs.

Ward comes into the NFL with proven arm talent and ability to command an offense as he did at Miami. These skills should translate well to the NFL, as many fantasy football managers will look to see if a quarterback is the only piece needed to turn this offense around.

Below, we’ll go through Ward’s 2025 fantasy football outlook and projections for his rookie season. Ward is the No. 1 QB in our rookie dynasty fantasy football rankings

Ward’s fantasy football projections are live on PrizePicks’ NFLSZN game, where you can pick More or Less on season-long fantasy football projections to win real money, including rookies like Ward, Travis Hunter, and Ashton Jeanty.

Cam Ward Fantasy Football Projections

Here are Cam Ward’s fantasy football projections for his rookie season, via the NFLSZN board on PrizePicks.

  • 3,174.5 passing yards
  • 17.5 passing touchdowns

Although the Titans haven’t named their QB1 yet, it’s likely that Ward will open up the season as the starter after Will Levis ended the season with a 13-to-12 TD-to-INT ratio and 2,091 passing yards last season. Levis struggled heavily last season, making more mind-numbing mistakes than his rookie campaign, leading to in-season benching.

We should see the Titans name Ward the starter. But will he have success? The Titans ranked 24th in pass blocking last season, per PFF, and 21st in pressure percentage (22.7%) which isn’t a great start. He does have a solid group of receivers in Calvin Ridley and Treylon Burks, plus Tony Pollard out of the backfield, but those weapons are nothing to write home about.

That said, Ward’s season-long projection on PrizePicks puts him at 187 passing yards per game if he starts all 17. Last year, the Titans — with Levis and Mason Rudolph — passed for 23 touchdowns. In eight full games during his rookie season, Levis passes for 1,794 yards and eight touchdowns — that’s 224 yards and a passing TD per game.

If Ward is the prospect he’s supposed to be, and starts early in the season, his projections are well within reach.

Where Does Cam Ward Rank for Fantasy Football?

While Ward is the consensus top rookie QB for dynasty fantasy football in 2025 and comes with high expectations as the No. 1 pick, he likely won’t have much relevance for actual fantasy football in 2025.

After your fantasy football drafts, you’ll likely find Ward sitting on the waiver wire, unless you’re in a Super FLEX or very deep league.

Out of all 26 eligible options at quarterback on PrizePicks, Ward is projected to rank 25th in both passing yards and passing touchdowns, where he is tied with Bryce Young in dead last.

Draft or Fade Cam Ward in Fantasy Football?

There is some upside to drafting Ward this year in fantasy, especially with his big arm and ability to connect on deep balls. While there are some growing pains that he will have to work through, as every young quarterback does, the Titans have some fairly good pieces on offense, with a running-game led by Pollard, and Pollard, Burks, and Tyler Lockett in the WR room.

We should see this offense take the next step as they will not be anchored down by another season of 18 turnovers by Will Levis, which crushed them late in games last year.

That said, Ward is probably worth a fade for your standard fantasy football leagues. However, if you believe in Ward’s ability to take over this Titans starting QB job by Week 1 and hold it down, his NFLSZN stats on PrizePicks’ season-long fantasy game are well within reach.
