With great fantasy football drafting comes great responsibility. And it's time to get responsible.
Drafting a star-studded roster is easier said than done. Elements like playing time, injuries, and roster fluctuation can impact how much value an NFL player offers a fantasy football team.

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 1
Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase
Ja'Marr Chase is coming off a triple crown-winning campaign, topping second place in catches (+12), yards (+175) and touchdowns (+4) — numbers worth a game or more of elite production. With good health and cannon-armed QB Joe Burrow under center, Chase is a worthy No. 1 pick.

Ja’Marr Chase Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 1 (WR1)
- 102.5 receptions
- 1,299.5 receiving yards
- 10.5 receiving TDs
Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs
One of the NFL's premier athletes at the running back position, Gibbs did damage on the ground (1,412 yards) and through the air (52 receptions) a season ago en route to scoring 20 TDs. He finished behind only Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley in RB points and looks set to enjoy a similar workload in 2025.

Jahmyr Gibbs Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 4 (RB3)
- 1,075.5 rushing yards
- 425.5 receiving yards
- 13.5 Rush+Rec TDs

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 2
Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr.
As a rookie, Brian Thomas managed to quietly finish as last season’s WR4, and between Weeks 13-18, he produced just 5 fewer fantasy points than Chase. The Jaguars’ athletic freak is only going to get more comfortable as he adjusts to the professional game.
Relying on quarterback Trevor Lawrence to stay healthy is a risk, but Thomas is easily the top target in a Jacksonville scheme drawn up by new vertically-minded head coach, Liam Coen.

Brian Thomas Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 14 (WR8)
- 79.5 receptions
- 1,150.5 receiving yards
- 6.5 receiving TDs
Falcons WR Drake London
Drake London was last year’s WR6 and is benefitting from a QB change. In Michael Penix Jr.’s three starts to close out last season, the star wideout hauled in 22 receptions for 352 yards and a pair of PDs. That’s a full-season pace of just under 2,000 yards.
London isn’t expected to sniff that level of production this year, but intrigue remains as he enters his age-24 season.

Drake London Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 19 (WR9)
- 87.5 receptions
- 1125.5 receiving yards
- 7 receiving TDs

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 3
Bengals RB Chase Brown
With little competition at running back, Chase Brown will be the featured rusher in Cincinnati as the Bengals look for a major bounceback in 2025.
His RB12 ranking from a year ago is a bit deceiving, as In his final eight games, he played more snaps (85.2%) and rewarded owners with RB5 output.
Brown is just 25 and although the Bengals will always prefer to pass first — No. 1 pass rate over expected in 2024, per nfelo — his dual-threat-ability gives him a nice floor, especially for PPR leagues.

Chase Brown Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 22 (RB11)
- 875.5 rushing yards
- 300.5 receiving yards
- 9.5 Rush+Rec TDs
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill
It’s entirely possible that at the age of 31, Father Time has paid Hill a visit, as borne out by last season’s sub-1,000-yard production in 2024. That said, the future Hall of Fame wideout played through an injury and is a potential bounce-back candidate if the Dolphins can shape up for 2025.
Hill went over the 100-yard mark in two of his final five games to close last season, so he's still a potential-laden option with upside.

Tyreek Hill Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 28 (WR12)
- 80.5 receptions
- 974.5 receiving yards
- 7 receiving TDs

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 4
Bills RB James Cook
No need to worry about Cook sitting out any games to kick off the season, as he has a multi-year contract in hand.
Last year’s RB7 led the NFL with 16 rushing TDs, 8 of which came from Week 11 on. Cook got stronger as the season progressed and is good enough as a pass catcher to be an all-purpose monster.

James Cook Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 34 (RB14)
- 949.5 rushing yards
- 8.5 rushing TDs
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts
You’re probably wondering how a quarterback who couldn’t even toss 20 touchdowns last year is listed as a premier fourth-round pickup.
Keep in mind that 2024's QB8 was actually QB2 between Weeks 8-15. As long as Jalen Hurts is healthy and the Tush Push is still a thing, Hurts is an interesting option to target for your QB1 spot.

Jalen Hurts Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 40 (QB5)
- 3199.5 passing yards
- 19.5 passing TDs
- 8.5 INTs
- 599.5 rushing yards

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 5
Commanders WR Terry McLaurin
Terry McLaurin deserves to get paid, and the Commanders would be wise to be the ones to do so. But his holdout continues as this is published, as a trade is still on the table.
Scary Terry is coming off a career year with his new rookie QB that saw him haul in 13 TDs and place as 2024’s WR5. A repeat showing is iffy — he averaged 5 scores a year from 2019-2023 — yet there’s still value to be had.
McLaurin does turn 30 in mid-September, but is a high-profile option until proven otherwise.
Buccaneers WR Mike Evans
The soon-to-be 32-year-old is a prime example of someone managing to produce past 30. Despite missing three games last season, Mike Evans topped the 1,000-yard mark for the 11th time in a row and ranked as WR7. At this point in the draft, scooping him up may be too enticing of a proposition.
With WR Jalen McMillan (neck) sidelined for half of the 2025 season, and Chris Godwin still recovering from a fractured ankle, Evans is set up to be a target monster once again in Tampa.
Despite all the QB changes over the last decade, Evans has never had less than 109 targets in a season.

Mike Evans Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 44 (WR19)
- 68.5 receptions
- 949.5 receiving yards
- 6.5 receiving TDs

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 6
Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson
TreVeyon Henderson's college rushing chops (7.1 yards per carry to end his Ohio State career) speak for themselves, plus he’s a capable receiver. Add in his proficiency as a pass protector, and you've got someone who has the potential to supplant Rhamondre Stevenson as the clear-cut RB1 in town.
Henderson has been a popular rookie to draft thanks to his preseason performances — with touchdowns in both games — so don't be surprised to see him go even higher than Round 6.

TreVeyon Henderson Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 51 (RB20)
- 700.5 rushing yards
- 4.5 rushing TDs
Detroit Lions TE Sam LaPorta
After bursting onto the scene with 889 yards and 10 TDs as a rookie, Sam LaPorta’s production took a step back in 2024. That said, it wouldn’t take a huge rebound to justify this value, especially as a key piece of one of the NFL's premier offenses.
The gap between Trey McBride, Jonnu Smith and Mark Andrews (2024’s TEs 3, 4 and 5, respectively) was 5 points. The difference between him (TE4) and George Kittle (TE2) from Weeks 14-18 was .2 points.

Sam LaPorta Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 54 (TE4)
- 59.5 receptions
- 675.5 receiving yards
- 6.5 receiving TDs

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 7
Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy
Missed connections on vertical passes with Patrick Mahomes limited Xacier Worthy to 638 yards and 6 TDs in his rookie year. But now, they have a year under their belt together.
Even without that deep-ball mind-meld, 2024’s WR32 ranked as WR19 once he broke out (56 yards per game from Weeks 11-17). Considering Rashee Rice's off-field issues, that’s more indicative of the player the former first-round pick is entering year two.
Worthy was a clear focus of the Chiefs' offense down the stretch last year — albeit without Rice — as he had at least five touches in every game after Week 10.

Xavier Worthy Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 60 (WR26)
- 74.5 receptions
- 899.5 receiving yards
- 8.5 receiving TDs
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle
Jaylen Waddle, like Hill, was another Dolphins receiver who didn’t put together the 2024 he wanted, as he was WR80 from Weeks 2-9. If he, Hill, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can stay on the field together this year, we might see solid production all around.
The 26-year-old will look to find his 2022-23 self, a self that racked up 1,356 receiving yards and 8 TDs. Now, with more experience playing with Tua, that ceiling could be even higher.

Jaylen Waddle Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 74 (WR33)
- 70.5 receptions
- 925.5 receiving yards
- 4.5 receiving TDs

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 8
Bears WR Rome Odunze
With WR Keenan Allen out and rookie Luther Burden III in, the Bears’ offensive picture still favors second-year Rome Odunze as WR2 behind D.J. Moore.
An up-and-down debut campaign with 54 receptions and 734 yards saw the Washington product settle in around 50th in fantasy WR production. A better showing from the Chicago offensive line and QB Caleb Williams could be all it takes for the 2024 first-rounder to ascend.

Rome Odunze Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 80 (WR37)
- 62.5 receptions
- 825.5 receiving yards
- 5 receiving TDs
Ravens TE Mark Andrews
Mark Andrews got off to a slow start last season and saw his year end in heartbreaking fashion in the Divisional Round, dropping the game-tying 2-PT conversion in the final seconds.
Despite that, Andrews placed as TE5 last year, and was TE3 from Week 5 on. During that stretch, he trailed Kittle (TE1) by 3.2 points.
Now healthy and motivated after letting his team down in a key spot, Andrews’ age-30 campaign might just see him rediscover his mojo.

Mark Andrews Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 85 (TE7)
- 49.5 receptions
- 599.5 receiving yards
- 6.5 receiving TDs

Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 9
Jakobi Meyers Fantasy Football Outlook
Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers was WR29 last season, despite catching passes from Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell, neither of whom are exactly Ken Stabler. It won't be unfair to expect positive regression with a quality signal caller in his back pocket, as the Raiders added QB Geno Smith this offseason.
Meyers is the clear WR1 on a team that should be trailing for much of this season. Outside of TE Brock Bowers and new RB Ashton Jeanty, he'll be competing with Tre Tucket, Dont'e Thornton Jr., and Jack Bech for targets.

Jakobi Meyers Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 90 (WR41)
- 70.5 receptions
- 800.5 receiving yards
- 4.5 receiving TDs
Browns TE David Njoku
David Njoku had a roller coaster of a 2024, missing three of his first four games, as well as three of his last four. He still finished the year as TE11 and is now being drafted as the TE8.
In his consecutive games-played streak from Weeks 5-14, however, he was TE7. Add in that he still has yet to turn 30, and a positive storm may be brewing, partly dependent on the Browns' QB situation..

David Njoku Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 101 (TE9)
- 67.5 receptions
- 650.5 receiving yards
- 5.5 receiving TDs
Meyers and Njoku’s 2025 fantasy football projections courtesy of the PrizePicks NFLSZN board — the simplest way to season-long fantasy football.
Best Fantasy Football Picks in Round 10
Packers TE Tucker Kraft
Last year's TE7 could be a sleeper at his current ADP. Even with a bit of a mid-year slide highlighted by Week 11’s catchless outing, Kraft excelled as Jordan Love's security blanket. And given Jayden Reed’s injury he's that much more valuable.

Tucker Kraft Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 118 (TE13)
- 48.5 receptions
- 625.5 receiving yards
- 3.5 receiving TDs
Jets QB Justin Fields
Fields might be the fantasy football's biggest wild card at the quarterback position — after all, he was QB32 in 2024 but in his starts from Weeks 1-6, he produced more fantasy points than all QBs not named Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels, Baker Mayfield, or Lamar Jackson.
Even if the former Buckeye doesn’t blossom as a passer with the Jets, he’ll run enough to raise his fantasy football floor.

Justin Fields Fantasy Football Projections
- ADP: 119 (QB15)
- 2575.5 passing yards
- 14.5 passing TDs
- 650.5 rushing yards
