Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, Week 10: Add Luke Musgrave, Marcus Mariota

The proverbial injury bug reared its ugly head again in NFL Week 9, leaving many players down for the count and fantasy owners down in the dumps.

Whether it be Commanders QB Jayden Daniels or Packers TE Tucker Kraft, the weekend brought ailments galore. With the fantasy season gearing up for the playoffs, it’s time to adjust on the fly.

Fortunately for managers, there are plenty of Week 10 fantasy football waiver wire pickups to consider.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups, Week 10

Here are some Week 10 fantasy football waiver wire targets at QB, RB, WR, and TE.

(Fantasy rankings and 2025 point totals are courtesy of FantasyPros.)

Commanders QB Marcus Mariota (vs. Lions)

It’s unclear whether Daniels’ elbow injury is year-ending, but he’s expected to miss several games either way. That puts QB Marcus Mariota directly under the spotlight as Washington looks to salvage its season.

Mariota has three 2025 starts under his belt that can serve as a baseline of sorts. In Weeks 3 and 4, his 423 total yards and 4 TDs made him QB14. Despite Week 8’s 28-7 loss to the Chiefs, he was QB19 thanks to 241 all-purpose yards and another score.

Next up, the former No. 2 draft pick squares off against a Lions defense that ranks 11th in fantasy points given up to QBs every week (18.0).

Other Week 10 QB Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy (vs. Ravens): McCarthy returned with a vengeance in Week 9, even while mustering just 143 passing yards. Thanks to 2 passing TDs and another score on the ground, he finished the week as QB13. Back in Week 1, he was QB11. To top it all off, last year’s 10th overall pick now faces a Baltimore defense that’s ninth in average PPR output to QBs (19.0 points).
  • Bengals QB Joe Flacco (BYE): Flacco has been en fuego since joining the Bengals, throwing for 1,254 yards with 11 TDs in just four games. He trails only Chargers star Justin Herbert in fantasy production in Weeks 6-9, made even more impressive by him not being a rushing threat. After a Week 10 bye, Flacco and Cincinnati play the Steelers.

Giants RB Devin Singletary (@ Bears)

Contrary to what many expected, Devin Singletary was quite involved in the Giants’ 34-24 loss to the 49ers in Week 9. In fact, he received 32 snaps to RB Tyrone Tracy’s 25 in RB Cam Skattebo’s absence.

In terms of direct workload, Singletary had 10 touches for 51 yards compared to Tracy’s 8 and 37, respectively. The latter got banged up in the second half. Add in Singletary getting premium red zone work, and you get a potential fantasy pickup for Week 10 and beyond.

It doesn’t hurt that the Bears rank 12th in most fantasy points per game yielded to RBs at 18.5.

Other Week 10 RB Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Bears RB Kyle Monangai (vs. Giants): If you thought Week 7’s 81-yard outing was Monangai’s statement game, Week 9 was a takeover. Toting the ball a staggering 26 times, he amassed 176 rushing yards and added another 3 catches for 22 yards. That was good for RB3 production overall. If RB D’Andre Swift’s groin injury lingers, that makes Monangai even more of a pickup to consider.
  • Jets RB Isaiah Davis (vs. Browns): Davis had his best game of the year right before New York’s Week 9 bye. On a season-high 33 snaps and 12 touches, he logged 109 total yards and was RB15 without a TD. The Browns do boast the third-best fantasy defense vs. RBs, but Davis might be worth a shot as a stash piece.

Jaguars WR Parker Washington (@ Texans)

The war of attrition is certainly setting in for the Jaguars. Star rookie WR/CB Travis Hunter is on IR with a knee injury, and WRs Dyami Brown and Brian Thomas Jr. both sustained ailments in Week 9’s 30-29 OT win over the Raiders.

That makes Parker Washington an intriguing option. He has 19 targets in his last two games, pouring in a season-high 90 yards on Sunday. Per Fantasy Points Data, his 35% first-read target share for Week 9 was 16% higher than that of both Brown and Thomas.

The Texans do allow the fourth-fewest fantasy points to WRs (16.1 per game), but Washington’s inclusion is a matter of availability.

Other Week 10 WR Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Packers WR Christian Watson (vs. Eagles): Watson has 4 targets in each of his two games back from an ACL injury. The fourth-year man has a Monday Night Football matchup against an Eagles defense that’s surrendered the eighth-most targets to WRs. With fellow Green Bay WR Matthew Golden nursing a shoulder issue, perhaps Watson keeps his momentum rolling.
  • Colts WR Alec Pierce (vs. Falcons): Week 9 saw Pierce record season-bests for targets (13), receptions (6), and yards (115). Even without a TD in Weeks 7-9, he’s WR14 in that stretch. According to SumerSports, just 13 WRs with 100+ opportunities average more yards per route run than his 2.26. Indianapolis has many mouths to feed, but Pierce is achieving pristine volume.

Packers TE Luke Musgrave (vs. Eagles)

The Packers took a major blow in Week 9, as star TE Tucker Kraft suffered a season-ending torn ACL. Having a viable former second-round backup like Luke Musgrave is a nice alternative, though.

In relief of Kraft in Sunday’s 16-13 loss to the Panthers, Musgrave played a season-high 30 snaps with 3 targets for 34 yards. He, like Kraft, is an impressive athlete testing-wise. His vertical field-stretching ability was a staple in college.

Musgrave is the unquestioned TE1 in Green Bay until proven otherwise. The most relevant example of him flashing his upside was Weeks 9-11 of 2023, when he ranked as TE8 thanks to 143 yards and a TD.

Other Week 10 TE Waiver Wire Pickups to Consider

  • Bears TE Colston Loveland (vs. Giants): Cole Kmet can’t seem to stay healthy, and Loveland is taking advantage of new opportunities. The rookie had the best game of his career in Week 9’s 47-42 win over the Bengals, recording 6 catches for 118 yards and 2 TDs — one of them being a game-winner. Coming off a week that saw him finish as TE2 in fantasy land, he faces a middle-of-the-road Giants defense vs. TEs.
  • Texans TE Dalton Schultz (vs. Jaguars): Without a TD on the year, Schultz is still finding ways to produce. He’s TE12 in Weeks 7-9, racking up 21 targets in that span (fourth among TEs). The 29-year-old’s two biggest games came in this stretch, and now he gets to play a Jaguars defense that gives up more fantasy points per game (11.8) to the position than anyone but the Bengals.
