The stars come out for championship Sunday, and not just in the stands. Those on the field when the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots clash (6:30 p.m. ET on NBC) could provide fireworks in Super Bowl LX.

Of course, getting off to a solid start is paramount. In the Super Bowl’s history, teams that score first are 38-21 in the big game. That creates an objective for players on both sides: come out of the gates firing on all cylinders.

Below, we’ll dive into Seahawks vs. Patriots first TD scorer picks for Super Bowl LX. Odds come from PrizePicks Team Picks, where you can also make predictions on game winners, spreads, over/unders, and futures — now available in 34 states.

Seahawks vs. Patriots First TD Scorer Predictions for Super Bowl LX

Here are some of the top Seahawks vs. Patriots Super Bowl LX first TD scorer projections on the PrizePicks Team Picks board. Who could strike first on Super Bowl Sunday?

Team Picks data is live as of writing and is subject to change.

Seahawks vs. Patriots First TD Scorer Odds

  • Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker: 1.2x No | 4.16x Yes
  • Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 1.12x No | 5.55x Yes
  • Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson: 1.06x No | 7.69x Yes
  • Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp: 1.03x No | 10x Yes
  • Seahawks TE AJ Barner: 1.03x No | 10x Yes

Seahawks vs. Patriots First TD Scorer Pick: Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Jaxon Smith-Njigba First TD Scorer Payouts: 1.12x No | 5.55x Yes

Expecting anyone else? Even with the second-lowest PrizePicks Team Picks payout to score a TD to open Super Bowl LX, Smith-Njigba remains an intriguing pick here.

For starters, the Offensive Player of the Year reached the end zone 10 times during the regular season. He’s gone on to do so in each of his 2026 playoff outings, too.

Simply put, JSN is a threat from anywhere. Per NFL Pro, he was one of two WRs to gain 100+ yards on eight different kinds of routes this year (Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua was the other). Additionally, he made up 44.1% of Seattle’s receiving yards in 2025-26, the second-biggest share of any wideout to ever play in the Super Bowl.

The intermediate and deep areas of the field could prove beneficial for Smith-Njigba. According to Pro Football Focus, he has 65 combined receptions and 11 scores across those two splits, posting 99.9 receiving grades for each.

Much is made of a potential matchup against star Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez, but Seattle tends to get Smith-Njigba in motion. It seems unlikely that the two will be totally attached at the hip all night long.

Furthermore, Gonzalez surrendered 8 receptions on 16 targets against the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round. A recent example of being tested in a playoff environment is there.

New England’s pass defense ranks 11th in EPA per play, yet it yielded 17 TDs to WRs (tied for seventh-most). It may be worth seeing if Smith-Njigba’s dominance can continue on the big stage.

Super Bowl LX First TD Scorer Sleeper Pick: Patriots TE Hunter Henry

Hunter Henry First TD Scorer Payouts: 1.03x No | 11.11x Yes

Despite being 31 years old, Henry might have just turned in the best regular-season effort of his career.

Sixty catches for 768 yards and 7 TDs is nothing to scoff at for a TE, especially within the context of the Patriots’ offense. According to SumerSports, even while ranking 15th among TEs in target distribution (18.05%), Henry topped any non-Trey McBride option in total EPA with 72.37.

The red zone could be Henry’s ticket to success in Super Bowl LX. Among all players this year, his 124 yards inside the 20 are third. His 14 receptions are tied for fourth. Henry trails only Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown in red-zone target share (33.8%). He also has 5 TDs to boot, further emphasizing his dominance.

When Henry faced the Seahawks in 2024, he went off for 8 receptions and 109 yards. That was with Jacoby Brissett as his starting QB. May he replicate that success with a superior talent, QB Drake Maye, under center? Head coach Mike Macdonald’s crew allowed the fifth-most receptions (105) to TEs this season.

Add in that Seattle faces the league’s second-highest rate of pass attempts, and Henry could be worthy of consideration to reach paydirt early on Sunday.
