The NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 gets started on Sunday, May 24 at 6:00 p.m. ET at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Amazon Prime.

The atmosphere surrounding this Memorial Day weekend race is dampened due to the death of veteran driver Kyle Busch this week. Busch completed 762 NASCAR races over 24 years and fell victim to pneumonia and subsequent complications at 41 years old.

The race must go on and will start the engines in Charlotte for the 400-lap race, spanning 600 miles following last weekend’s All-Star festivities.

Below, we'll break down our NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 predictions and pick to win for Sunday’s race, including the starting lineup and top driver picks for PrizePicks.

NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 Winner, Top 10 Predictions for Charlotte – Sunday, May 24

Ross Chastain came out on top of last season’s Coca-Cola 600 after starting last. William Byron led for 283 laps, including winning each of the first two stages, but finished second and was denied his first Charlotte victory.

Five of the top seven drivers at last May’s event drove Chevrolets with A.J. Allmendinger, Chase Elliott, and Michael McDowell finishing behind Chastain and Byron.

Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Larson have all won at this track since 2021. Hamlin and Larson each captured the pole in their victories, while the last five winners started sixth or higher.

Seven different drivers have won the past seven races, capped off by Hamlin’s victory at Dover in the All-Star event last Sunday.

The favorite to win the Coca-Cola 600 is Denny Hamlin entering Sunday's race, according to PrizePicks Team Picks.

Hamlin currently returns a 5x payout ($100 pays out $500) if he wins while several other drivers, including Reddick, are right behind him at a 5.55x payout to win at Charlotte, according to PrizePicks.

Payout multipliers listed (like 2x) indicate real-money earnings if your NASCAR predictions are correct; for example, 2x on a $100 entry pays $200 if correct — available in 35 states, including North Carolina. “Yes” payouts represent a specific outcome occurring, whereas "No" payouts indicate the opposite.
