QBs to Target in Fantasy Football 2025

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

In the relatively recent past, many of us were comfortable waiting until around the sixth round or later to draft a QB1 — after all, there wasn’t that much difference between a Matthew Stafford and a Dak Prescott. These days, it’s a different story.

Thus, it’s reasonable — if not smart — to grab Lamar Jackson early and often where you can.

With an average ADP of 24 overall(QB2), there's no reason to overthink this pick, as the man Tom Brady calls "The Eraser" led all quarterbacks in rushing yards last season with 915, while also setting career-bests in passing yards and touchdowns with 4,172 and 41, respectively.

The two-time MVP has become one of the NFL’s most efficient passers, ranking first in yards per attempt and fifth in Completion Percentage Over Expected (CPOE) in 2024.

Lamar Jackson Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 3,450.5 Pass Yards
  • 28.5 Pass TDs
  • 7.5 INTs
  • 774.5 Rush Yards
  • 4 Rush TDs

Broncos QB Bo Nix

With an ADP of 79 (QB8), the sophomore provides great value and high upside if you decide to wait on a quarterback in the draft. Finishing as the QB6 last season in fantasy points per game as a rookie, Bo Nix managed to be 15th in yards per attempt along with 10th in CPOE.

He also flashed some impressive wheels, finishing his rookie campaign eighth in rushing yards amongst quarterbacks.

Nix comes into 2025 with added weaponry in the forms of TE Evan Engram and RB JK Dobbins, so expect the Oregon product to capitalize with more targets at his disposal.

Bo Nix Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 3,500.5 Pass Yards
  • 24.5 Pass TDs
  • 10.5 INTs
  • 4 Rush TD

Bears QB Caleb Williams

Tagged by optimists as a generational talent, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams had what some considered to be a disappointing rookie season.

Williams was outplayed by the QB selected after him in the 2024 NFL Draft (Jayden Daniels) and getting sacked 68 times might have something to do with that particular take — so there's no doubt some fantasy managers have reservations about him.

However, Williams is seen as one of the highest potential QBs to take a step forward, as borne out by his ADP of 104 (QB15).

Another plus for Caleb: The Bears brought in tricky former Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson from the Lions as their head coach, as well as a pair of shiny new rookie pass catchers in WR Luther Burden III and TE Colston Loveland. With a new play caller, a pack of frisky skill players, and a revamped offensive line, the sophomore has  a chance to be a legitimate fantasy QB1.

Caleb Williams Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 3,575.5 Pass Yards
  • 22.5 Pass TDs
  • 9.5 INTs
  • 425.5 Rush Yards
  • 24.5 Pass+Rush TDs

RBs to Target in Fantasy Football 2025

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson

Bijan’s ADP sits at No. 2 overall and RB2, so if you’re at the top of your league's draft board, consensus says to grab him — and as he's one of the NFL’s legit Swiss Army knives, consensus has a point.

Last season after Week 5, Robinson’s route share jumped to 60.4% and his target share climbed to 13.4%, numbers that could be exceeded as he establishes a mind-meld with second-year QB Michael Penix Jr.

Bijan has been seen taking extra snaps and working on route running with the receivers, so his receiving game could go beyond next level, something that could make him one of the league’s scariest PPR options out of the backfield.

Bijan Robinson Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 1,199.5 Rush Yards
  • 10.5 Rush TDs
  • 54.5 Receptions
  • 375.5 Receiving Yards
  • 2.5 Rec TDs

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane

Achane is going to be a PPR machine, as he averaged over 6 receptions per game in 2024 with Tua at quarterback. The Dolphins also moved on from TE Jonnu Smith who had the second most targets on the team, which should lead to more looks for the Texas A&M product.

Achane ranked second amongst all players in designed targets, and had 72% of the Dolphins’ goal line carries last season. Good stuff on a back who had an explosive season in 2023.

De'Von Achane Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 899.5 Rush Yards
  • 7.5 Rush TDs
  • 65.5 Receptions
  • 450.5 Receiving Yards
  • 3.5 Rec TDs

Chargers RB Omarion Hampton

Chargers rookie RB Omarion Hampton heads into the season looking like he’ll have the keys to the Bolts’ offensive backfield, as fellow RB Najee Harris has been dealing with an eye injury he sustained on July 4.

At North Carolina, the rookie was a beast, ranking 11th in yards after contact per attempt in college football in 2024.

Save for 2024, Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman has never had his unit finish outside of the top ten in team rushing attempts, so there should be plenty of opportunities for Hampton on the ground.

Omarion Hampton Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 849.5 Rush Yards
  • 6.5 Rush TDs

WRs to Target in Fantasy Football 2025

Giants WR Malik Nabers

The second-year speedster Malik Nabers had a 75+% win rate in both man, press, and zone coverages in 2024, and he was 11th among all wide receivers in yards after the catch. Plus he ranked first in target share and second in targets and target rate, so he's, y'know, good.

With second-year RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. and rookie RB Cam Skattebo leading the backfield charge, the Giants’ running back room is a work-in-progress, so Nabers might well be the offense's focal point once again.

Veteran QB Russell Wilson should boost Nabers’ deep ball production, a good thing for fantasy players, as last season, he ranked 82nd in yards per reception despite finishing fifth in deep ball targets.

Malik Nabers Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 100.5 Receptions
  • 1,149.5 Receiving Yards
  • 7.5 Rec TDs

Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan

Carolina QB Bryce Young seemed to rediscover his mojo after brief mid-season benching, and if he continues his ascension, the first-round rookie they call Tet could outplay his ADP of 55 (WR28).

With depth chart featuring aging Adam Thielen and inconsistent second-year man Xavier Legette, Tetairoa McMillan rolls into 2025 as the Panthers’ clear top WR target.

While at Arizona, the 22-year-old ranked in the top ten in both man coverage targets and yards per route run against man coverage, which bodes well for his first professional campaign.

Tetairoa McMillan Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 56.5 Receptions
  • 825.5 Receiving Yards
  • 5 Rec TDs

Jets WR Garrett Wilson

Garrett Wilson had an above average success rate on every route last season outside of one, the nine route (streak). However, the Jets had him run the streak and slants in roughly 45% of his routes, which didn't exactly do wonders for his fantasy numbers.

The lackluster play from QB Aaron Rodgers didn’t help matters; now with mobile quarterback Justin Fields at the helm, the extension of broken plays could allow Fields' former teammate at Ohio State to find open space.

With target-vacuum Davante Adams off in Los Angeles, plus Josh Reynolds and Allen Lazard as his only competition for targets, Wilson will look to set career-highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns for the second straight season.

Garrett Wilson Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 84.5 Receptions
  • 949.5 Receiving Yards
  • 4.5 Rec TDs

TEs to Target in Fantasy Football 2025

Raiders TE Brock Bowers

Brock Bowers took the league by storm last season, and if you have the opportunity to draft him in the mid-late second round, you should, as he’s basically a WR1 in the body of a tight end.

The former Georgia Bulldog set the rookie tight end record for receptions, yards, targets, and fantasy points per game, while finishing the season as TE3.

Catching balls from QB Geno Smith rather than Gardner Minshew and Aiden O’Connell should help Bowers’ cause, and the addition of rookie superstar-in-the-making RB Ashton Jeanty could open up the passing game, and fantasy owners hope Bowers will equal or exceed his 23.6% target share.

Brock Bowers Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 95.5 Receptions
  • 999.5 Receiving Yards
  • 4.5 Rec TDs

Pick More or Less on these fantasy football projections on PrizePicks' real money fantasy football game.

Broncos TE Evan Engram

Projected as TE8 and being drafted with a consensus ADP of 8.02, Evan Engram has a lot of upside in what should be a typically Sean Payton-esque equal opportunity offense.

The emergence of Bo Nix could lead to a balanced offense in Denver, as Courtland Sutton is the only receiver who will potentially get a consistent target share this season, potentially opening the door for an Engram explosion.

Engram provides a reliable target, as he ranked fifth in targets per route run and third in target share amongst tight ends.

Evan Engram Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 60.5 Receptions
  • 575.5 Receiving Yards
  • 3.5 Rec TDs

Pick More or Less on these fantasy football projections on PrizePicks' real money fantasy football game.

Browns TE David Njoku

Always a reliable pass catcher, Browns TE David Njoku could be a steadying offensive presence in what might be a weird quarterback situation, with two rookies and two journeyman veterans — including likely starter Joe Flacco.

Meanwhile at running back, the Browns will turn to Jerome Ford and company, as rookie Quinshon Judkins is facing legal trouble, and with four quarterbacks without a declared starter, a reliable Njoku-esqe pass catcher is just what the Browns need.

Even hampered by injuries, Njoku finished the season as fifth in target share (21%), seventh in yards per game (45.9), and sixth in first-read share (21.6%) among tight ends in 2024.

David Njoku Projections for 2025 Fantasy Football

  • 67.5 Receptions
  • 650.5 Receiving Yards
  • 5.5 Rec TDs
