Why did PrizePicks deactivate my account?
PrizePicks can deactivate and terminate accounts at any time, at its sole discretion. Some reasons that could lead to the permanent deactivation of your account include:
Multi-accounting
If PrizePicks discovers that you have created more than one account, PrizePicks reserves the right to suspend or cancel any or all of your accounts, terminate/withhold/void all prizes, and seize all funds in your accounts.
Chargebacks
Disputing and charging back deposits will lead to a permanent deactivation of your account, and the initial deposit and all winnings generated from entries placed after the deposit in question will be forfeited and deducted from your account balance.
If you wish to maintain membership here at PrizePicks, please message Live Support for your options.
Circumnavigating rules or terms of service
Members found to be attempting to circumnavigate PrizePicks' rules or terms of service will have their accounts deactivated and winnings voided. Actions such as: (but not limited to) spoofing location in valid states and playing for underage members are included.
Abusive behavior
PrizePicks’ has zero tolerance for members subjecting employees to harassment, derogatory language, threats, dehumanizing or inappropriate language, or attempting to contact an employee directly. Such member actions include, but are not limited to, any of the following:
- Name calling
- Directed cursing or abusive language
- Hate speech
- Harassment (e.g. multiple threatening messages)
Participation in any of the aforementioned activities will result in a permanent suspension from the PrizePicks platform.
Attempting to personally contact any PrizePicks employee is an unacceptable avenue for members to pursue and cases where that occurs will result in suspension and/or banning based on a review of the circumstances.
